You get an A for persistence. I had to grin when I heard you say just tap it on with a hammer... I did this on my Focus a few years ago and even with a press it wasn't easy. I've seen the 1A Auto video that has to be edited and leaves out the hardest part with this bushing. I opted for full arms with bushings for my Flex. Thanks for posting the truth.

Best video for cars in a long time. Also appreciated the way to test the valve. It gave me peace of mind to replace it on my own. Even if that was not the entire problem, the air coming through the valve by my blowing air, certainly is not a good valve.

I’ve seen a video where the sensor connector is unplugged and slips through the centre of a 22mm Ring Spanner . It would give a far better purchase to release a seized sensor. In my experience a “crows foot” spreads and slips. Also using brake fluid as a releasing agent helps unscrew seized threads

Why not take a few extra minutes to pull apart the caliper and clean and regrease the ‘ears’? And why not open the bleeder a little to make it much much easier to push the pistons? Why just slide new shoes in? It only takes a few more minutes to do a much more thorough job. Perplexed.

Great video. I needed to change the front tires on my Craftsman YT3000 riding mower. What a coincidence you posted a video on the exact same mower that I have!

I got gas, and then my car would crank, but not start after that fill up. Since then I have tried to figure out everything on my own because I can’t afford to get it towed but the issue I believe is this solenoid. So my question is, could a bad solenoid cause a vehicle to dump fuel out straight to the ground when filling?

To put it on, just spray with wd40 and use a dead blow hammer... I've done hundreds of em and it take about 2.5 mins to put the new one that way
@hayseedfarm
@hayseedfarm Жыл бұрын
Tried that. Didn’t work. Maybe something to do with the part. Do you buy motorcraft bushings? From the other comments on here, I gather there is a split in how easy or difficult it is to install this bushing, ranging from a couple of minutes with a dead blow hammer to never attempt it again and buy the whole control arm.

So I had the same issue for a while and ignored it. Now heat doesn't come out anywhere. Is that still the blend door or some other deal that needs help?

It could be part of the issue, but if all vents won’t blow hot you have other problems.

In this video I still had stock wheels and tires. The tires are 30s. I had 33s on after the bumper upgrade, but had to trim the body mount behind the rear wheels for them to fit.
