Is this FSX? Also how do you move around the cockpit so fast, i have figured out how to do it but not as smooth
@YourPilotSpeaking3 ай бұрын
Greetings! No, this is X-Plane 11. I'm not an expert but I think as long as your set the correct graphic quality for your video card you should get a smooth movements in the cockpit. Of course the stronger the video card the better graphics you can use, but it will be more expensive. Sometimes I check what guys in the online forums have to say, you can get much better information in those type of communities! Cheers!

Fabulous video, I like how you put things so clearly. Which of these 10 risks is harder for you?
@YourPilotSpeaking4 ай бұрын
It really depends on the situation and circumstances. For example If you’re doing night flights it would be sleeping, but If you’ve been flying couple of days in row then it would be fatigue that has been accumulating throughout the last few days and then your priority would be to recover. Cheers! 😊

Is PAPI communicating with the plane somehow and what if there is a mist at the Airport?
@YourPilotSpeaking Жыл бұрын
From Wikipedia: "The transition between the two colours must take place over an angle not greater than three minutes of arc. This characteristic makes the color change very conspicuous, a key feature of the PAPI signal. To form the PAPI guidance signal, the color transition boundaries of the four units are fixed at different angles. The lowest angle is used for the unit furthest from the runway, the highest for the unit nearest to the runway. The designated glideslope is midway between the second and third light unit settings." The key thing here is that the angles of the lights are fixed. Therefore, If you go below the so called "Glideslope" (The path you want to have during the approach for landing) your eyes will see not 2 whites and 2 red, but 3 red and 1 white lights. For this to work you need the so called "VMC" - Visual Meteorological Conditions, so If you have a mist you won't be able to see the PAPI lights and you have to use a different approach system. Which is my next project, I'm still working on the name but it will be something like "How do pilots navigate in clouds?" :))

Soft and supple landing ❤🎉❤
@YourPilotSpeaking Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, could have been just a bit softer however remember that a soft landing does not always means "a good landing"! "A very smooth/soft touchdown is not essential, nor even desired, particularly if the runway is wet." Boeing 737 CL Flight Crew Training Manual
