Best explanation on youtube. I've tried for months to remember how to tie a portuguese bowline and I've watched tutorials from at least a dozen different youtube channels. For me, this instructional video and the technique shown is by far the most simple to understand and easy to remember. Even a complicated knot is easy to remember once I find an simple explanation like this one. For example, figuring out how to tie your version of this knot around anchor points was easy because once I used the technique shown here. Thank you.

That is an uni knot with a little improvement at the beginning (2x through the swivel)
