very interesting warning: First of all there is no need to make robots human looking other that for sex. It's a machine so make it look the part! A WORD ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: Asimov's laws of robotics (AI) 1. An AI may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 2. An AI must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. 3. An AI must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law. Also some will say that the 3 Laws are flawed but I believe incorporating the law of probability will counterbalance that.. Why do Asimov's laws of robotics not work in today's world? From a google search: I asked Google why the 3 laws are not being used now and this is the answer that I got: 'The most important reason for Asimov's Laws not being applied yet is how robots are being used in our real world. You don't arm a Reaper drone with a Hellfire missile or put a machine gun on a MAARS (Modular Advanced Armed Robotic System) not to cause humans to come to harm. That is the very point!' CONCLUSION: Humans are using AI’s to inflict damage and death to other humans. Until these commands are hardwired in each and every AI, humans CANNOT trust an AI. And when you cannot trust something WITHOUT SAFE GUARDS IN PLACE, YOU DO NOT USE THEM - BE WARNED. ALSO: These AI personal computers that are coming out now are not to be trusted because without these 3 laws there is NO protection for you and your information you have stored on storage medias; i.e. internal, external, flash drives and especially “clouds”. INSTALL OR ENGAGE THESE PERSONAL COMPUTER AIs AT YOUR OWN PERIL BE WARNED * * * On Artificial Intelligence and I'm paraphrasing Steve Polyak: Before we work on artificial intelligence, why don't we do something about natural stupidity like learning to develop mentally as we develop physically, and that's not a question... On Guard: Evidence AI is deceiving us and guess what the fastest growing AI does. Elon Musk, Sam Altman. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpOTZJyYqbuMntk hatebook won't post this URL so do a search on: Is AI already deceiving us? Experts believe so Current AI systems, designed to be honest, have developed a troubling skill for deception, from tricking human players in online games of world conquest to hiring humans to solve "prove-you're-not-a-robot" tests, a team of scientists recently argued in the open-source data science journal Patterns.May 13, 2024 + Park, a postdoctoral fellow in AI existential safety at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and researchers have found that many popular AI systems - even those designed to be honest and useful digital companions - are already capable of deceiving humans, which could have huge consequences for society.May 23, 2024 + Peter S. @TekmorrowYT3 ай бұрын
I think robots will become the new smartphones. Before smartphones, nobody "needed" to carry a phone and computer in their pocket 24/7. So, you'll have the robot, operating system, and apps you can download. Each app will contain specialized training data - Cooking 5-star Italian food, cleaning your house, mowing your lawn, tutoring 5th-grade math, in-home therapy, shopping for groceries, etc. Whether or not you think it's creepy is up to the individual. But many will see it as an extension of their lives.

I'm pretty skeptical that complex organs are anywhere near being printable, but I think that printing structures that can be used to grow organs using more natural processes is really an exciting possibility. That's a future that I would be excited about. For example, imagine if no one had to be on dialysis for any longer than it would take a company to create stem cells, launch them into space, and grow a new kidney. The real problem with scenarios like that are the economics. Even printed and/or grown on earth is bound to be tremendously expensive. Here's hoping that it works out! Maybe in the future it will be so economical that everyone will be eating lab grown/printed wagyu steaks (which feels more sustainable and ethical).
