The video stops about 1/3 rd the way through. Ther is no audio on this video. Can this be fixed?

Just realised when I was Gravity feeding it to purge it that the first unit that I brought said that the ink had to be on the same level. Well I thought that sitting it on the same table was level. But NO the tubes drained a bit again so now the ink is sitting on a small box at the same height as the actual print cartage's. Done know if this will fix the problem .. BUT still not happy.

This is my 3rd system and this one its total crap. The lines need purging all of the time. Thought that it was my problem so took it into get serviced and the tec' also had problems. No amount of sucking is going to fix this problem. Not happy at all.

Mine would not work and I figured out that gravity was pushing it back so I put a speaker next to my Epson and put the ink about 2 feet above the printer, gravity makes it work, now I just need to take out the ink sponges so I can easily remove the ink catch and start cleaning the heads everyday.

Do I need a separate syringe for each color since I am putting back in the bottle?

Do you even need to remove the ink cartridges from the carriage in the printer? I just tried without doing so (after doing so first. I did it again because after putting it back in, as I put it back, more air bubbles appeared. So instead of taking it out again I left it in and did it and it seemed to work fine.)

I bought a used printer, the ink tank was filled in the wrong ink. Epson ET 4500 tank, the black ink was filled with the blue tank. Please do you have any idea how I can correct this error? I have already print with the printer

My problem is, one of the hose does not respond I mean the ink wont siphon upto the cartridge even how many times I do it. The ink just stays at the middle of the hose. What should I do? Pls help...

Thank you so much for the video! I finally solved my problem. I use syringe at first, the ink flows a bit and fill up the air trapped in the hose but not until the cartridge. Then I use air pump (for inflatable toys) to push more the ink from the printhead and it works! The ink flows forward and it doesn't return and finally completely fill up the hose.

I'm going to try this on my Epson 1500w CISS, because it's just not printing and I figure that there must be an airlock/s in the feed from the main tanks to the print head? I'm going to do it carefully! I am a little impatient, so last time I figured that if I sealed the main tank with my lips and gently blew, I would push the ink up along the pipe and up to the print head. Wrong! I ended up with a mouthful of magenta ink and it looked like I was wearing purple lipstick too! As a man, this was difficult to explain away! However, I'm going to do the entire purge in the bath (empty, of course) following this method. By blowing the ink unsuccessfully, I hope I haven't damaged the printer/ printhead? Does the printer do a head clean, prior to printing?

Hi, after I upgraded my firmware, the CIS does not work any more! Is there any solution? Is there a way to downgrade the firmware? I checked Epson web site they don't have the previous version.

I do this in a small tub like an ice cream tub, empty of course, or a empty butter tub, if you are really messy, look at the a sweet tin or tub from Xmas, they are normally plastic now and make excellent ink safety vessels, just put kitchen towel in the base and your good to go. I also sit the ink reservoir in a tub in case of leaks.

After I prime, it still flows back a bit. Is this bad? Just got my ciss for the 837.

I would also use rubber gloves and have everything around protected..................just sayin'!

here's the issue: tried priming the black on a CISS form you guys several times. it primes and then the ink runs out after printing several documents without recharging. Only happens with the black. Also the other colours prime very easily and DO NOT run out after several print jobs. Seems a large force is required to prime the black compared to a gentle force for the other colurs. Is the black cartridge defective?
