Man, it hurts to see you be completely dissociated with the content, nearly treating it as a tool for personal gain. Don was so gracious in dealing with this situation. I hope you and yours are in a better place these days.

I joined Ford in 2006, during the heady positive days there when Alan took over as the Leader. It was a great time, had the chance to meet him when he visited the plant we had just built. Have the photo took with him still today. Alas Ford squandered all the great work Alan did, and reverted to their old ways of infighting after he left. They are atill at it today and may not make it thru the next downturn. I left in 2016. Ford really missed an opportunity to flourish by not keeping up with Alan's ways, which saved the company.

Imagine a person who grew up in the foster kid system, being bounced around from one place to the next, never really having a chance to build relationships with anyone who might be able to teach them all those skills, concepts, habits, and techniques that successful parents take the intentional time to teach their children as they're growing up... that person then ages out of the system, goes on to college and lives in the dorms because that's the best option for a roof over their head, but they're so far behind that they do their best to catch up, but they don't know what they don't know so they don't know the right questions to ask and the right places to look for help. They then graduate and get into their 30's and 40's and still feel so far behind because they just never got those foundational life lessons that so many other kids grow up getting, let alone, the life lessons many learn in college because they were set up so well for success by their parents before they even got there... so they're still behind and still struggling. THAT is me - and THAT is thousands of other people, believe it or not. What I would give to see you put together a complete video series that really digs in deep, starts with the basics, and then works its way up to learning how successful adults set themselves up for a well prepared and prosperous life. What are the habits they do each day? How do they organize they life and themself too? What do successful people know about money that poor people don't seem to get? What are those things successful people do differently that set them apart? I think you get where I'm going... I would sure love to see you do a full complete video series on basically, how to adult and how to adult successfully - there are so many more people out there who need this just as much as I do. I'm just the only one saying it. Any chance you'd be willing to do something of that nature? I'd sure be grateful if you did. (I need a step by step kind of game plan... I missed it all growing up.)

Hey Team Covey - I desperately need your help...!! I need you to do a video series on how to start over in life. I grew up super poor, with parents who had no idea what they were doing in life, and we didn't live close to any family that could help me learn how to be successful in life. I went to a super small school that did not teach this kind of thing so I didn't get there and because I didn't know what questions I should be asking, I didn't know what I was missing. I wanted so badly to be successful but I didn't even know where to start - I didn't even know how to organize my life in such a way so as to set myself up for success, let alone, how to then design my life. Subsequently, I have gone through life just floundering - always dreaming of being someone someday as well as the dream of one day being successful; yet, I still find myself not knowing where to start or what to do. I am now 49yrs old, never been married, and I just lost my job at the beginning of December 2024 and I'm at my whits end. I'm choosing to look at this as an opportunity to start over again and hopefully create that life for myself that I've always dreamed of but I kid you not... I feel like I need someone to literally start with square one as though I were back in my childhood and someone were teaching me the things I need to know to eventually become a successful adult. I need help with discovery questions so I know what I need to be lookin at in my life and thinking about as well as working on. I also need someone to walk me through how to set good habits, good goals, and how to put processes and systems in place to make sure I'm accomplishing it all. And then I need someone to help me figure out a game plan to bring it all together and truly set myself up for success and make it work. There's sooo many 15 minute videos out there on this topic but they all just seem to ramble and I have yet to find a video, let alone, a series, let alone, a speaker that's been helpful in actually giving me questions to consider and action steps to take. I need someone to start with the baby steps at square one and walk me through it like a life coach would... I think you're the one who could truly make that happen. (I can't afford a life coach and I can't afford to take the Design Your Life classes at Stanford... I need something on KZbin or at least, something within my currently super small income pretty please!!). HELP!!
