Spear=average weapon.. But cheap af.. its an all around weapon that counters sword most of the time.. Im a spear maik btw... If you find it enjoyable then try it. You'll learn along the way anyways

Assassin jacket work well with everything 😅. It has very good stat & because it's a leather piece, you have the flame shield to rely on as well if u ever need brawl power.

If u face brawl with mace you'll lose against almost everything in the game. So u want to make favorable trade each time u engage then retreat and wait cooldown. U want infernal shield when you feel like it's really difficult to make winning trade without it. If the enemy also have infernal shield, then you don't want to pop the shield together with them and brawl. You want to kite his shield then come back with your shield and force him to fight you.

@@yazdan5164 Yeah atm it's bad for 1v1. It didn't used to be that way. It got a minor buff but still no where near where it was ~ a year ago. Q dmg was nerf, E range was also nerfed and they removed the during landing. As for guardian armor, it's good in team fight but not by yourself. It now also slightly reduce your dmg, not just the enemies. The only way you can make it work solo it by paring with stalker hood + muisak. Even then it's not that great.

:) I play lots of weapon, but mostly 1-handed spear/mace & bloodletter. I'll rotate back there eventually.

@albion_spicywolf is the classic merc jacket build still viable for spear

@@user-vo6sf8tp5v Not for Mist. The strongest point of 1-handed spear is its adaptability with your W. Merc build lock your W to 1 spell (forest of spears) which greatly dampened the weapon.

@@user-vo6sf8tp5v Heron spear is playable solo but not as good as regular spear. In team fights, Heron spear gives much more value.

bloodletter, hunter hood, mage robe, soldier boot. Any offhand u like, but muisak/torch is best, taproot OK too.

@@HaventSleptIn30Years bleed. I think bleed is a must for bloodletter, as you want any bit of dmg u can muster for the execution. On top of that, the bleed deals more dmg on daggers compared to sword and axe (as % of your auto attack)

It is, just use torch offhand and no cape. Heck I've tried just the bloodletter, mage robe, hunter hood, soldier boot with no offhand and cape and I was still killing people outside lym portal :D

@@user-vo6sf8tp5v It is. Mage robe was very popular. It got nerfed and dropped from meta. SBI's just buffed it up 2 consecutive recent patches and now it's in a very good spot.

You've got it right. I relying on that cape right from start. I also used res pot and judicator armor when I got low to ensure that cape would proc.

Gotta grind it up :D I chose to grind spear first because it's much more effective* at speed clearing mobs.

It's not on West. It really worth farming on East because this is the first time this event happens on East, so the Pumpkin heads & Hygienic sets should be exorbitantly expensive over here, even after the first few days hype.

What do you mean? There's always been a 30 sec cooldown if your mount get killed.
