Thanks for reacting to my suggestion! This live performance from so late in their career (their last tour, in fact) was amazing! They rarely performed this one live. The best concert video from this tour is the one labeled 'Live from R40', where you can see the entire stage, which includes imagery of storm clouds behind them, and it also shows Geddy playing the synth foot pedals as well as the keyboard and bass. I suggest watching that on your own time, just to get the whole experience. As for the meaning of the song, I think Neil wrote it about the sun shining through the clouds, rather than a religious connotation of the words 'Jacob's Ladder' (the band members, as I understand it, are either agnostic or atheist).

She’s been singing with them since 2019 (as a friend/guest) and she’s been an official member for almost 2 years. They were considering doing shows with her before that whole Covid thing, but that threw a wrench in that machine… but for sure no “just” in anything (aside from them coming out and sharing what was old news for the band). Looked like you enjoyed the song. Her singing style came from Chester in a way, since he inspired her to scream back in 2002 when she was in Dead Sara - but it’s all her style :)

@@MJLimey.ReviewsAll Anybody (stripped), Lemon Scent, The Weatherman - I’d do those 3 to see her range and emotion, delve further if those 3 interest you. I’ve added all 3 to my playlist. The studio version of Anybody is more pop sounding, still great, but the stripped version is just special.

What do you mean just signed her? I guess the term late to the party applies here. You're dead wrong she's not trying to replace Chester or imitate Chester. If that's what they're going for there are a few dead ringers for Chester out there.

Please react to one of the coolest female vocalists in the world. Diana Ankudinova - Queen of Goosebumps - Diana received such a title for her extraordinary unique voice. Diana's best performances - Derniere Danse, Wicked Game, Can't Help Falling in Love, California Dreamin', Sweet Dreams, Human Each of these performances garnered over a thousand reactions. Diana is in the TOP 3 world vocalists in terms of the number of reactions (more than 20 thousand reactions). The coolest performance that will shock you and give you the biggest goosebumps! kzbin.info/aero/PLQJJG9TMmSOB4YXRUgdxA-H-Fo_sjB3kZ Protection of the video-image about partial blocking for some countries is preferable.

I recommend making a reaction to one of the best vocalists in the world. Meet Diana Ankudinova! Diana has the title - Queen of Goosebumps. Challenge yourself, can you resist the charm of her voice? Comments under the video: "What perfection, it's out of this world, not even to explain how extraordinary her voice is." "It is definitely the most beautiful voice in the world❤" 1) super unique voice (dramatic contralto with rich polyphonic overtones); 2) the most complex vocal techniques, a bewitching voice; 3) Diana sings in 6 languages : English, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Arabic and any musical genre; 4) incredible charisma, artistry and living of any song; 5) a vocal range of 4 octaves; 6) a large army of fans around the world; 7) an independent artist, without producers and labels, only with the support of fans and reactors like you; 8) more than 21 thousand reactions (all collected in my playlists). The incredible fate of a girl found with a broken collarbone at a bus stop and ended up in an orphanage.

I'm in the middle of having evacuated Hurricane Milton in Florida, so I watched your reaction distracted from the music video and just watching your reaction when I realized how much different (and sorry, but better) this song is without the video. I think the video is important for the beginning, but when Floor starts singing, it's much better to listen to the music without the video (now that I've seen the video). What a banger! Just an opinion. This will be awesome in concert. Thank You for your reaction MJLimey! Nightwish Army, Venice FL

Alan Dean Foster is a big fan of Nightwish's music, the famous American fantasy and science fiction writer who applied his writing talent to such hits as Star Wars and Star Trek, maintains a music section on his blog, he also introduces his subscribers with young and talented artists. "There are many good singers, fewer great singers, and a very small number who are unique singers. Diana is a natural dramatic contralto. This is the lowest range for a female singer. She is also polyphonic. Roughly, this means that when she sings she often sounds like more than one person singing at once. As you can imagine, the combination is extraordinary. So too is her full range. Singers at age 14 can do things that astonish us. Witness the careers of Jordan and the Dutch prodigy Amira Willighagen. But even when included in this company there is something special about Diana. I love the performances of the two singers I just mentioned, but they are (perfectly) controlled and measured. Diana is more akin to a force of nature. One of the most common descriptions of her performances is “shamanistic.” Some of this has to do with the remarkable timbre of her voice, some with the sheer intensity of her performing. In this she is closer to Floor Jansen. With both women you can see as well as hear the intensity, the emotion, contained with both the lyrics and the music. A duet between the two would be something magical." I also recommend checking out the top vocalist, the most unique and incredibly talented Diana Ankudinova.

When Kazakhstan belonged to Russia (in mid-1916), young Kazakhs were forced by the Russian Empire to leave their homes and fight for many years until their total massacre. The story of one of these young people, who marches desperately into a war that is not his, as well as the sadness of leaving his parents, who are older, with no one to care for and the certainty that he will never see the mountains (“tau ”) of Kazakhstan again again spawned this wonderfully sad song! In addition to Dimash's talent, we have a wonderful environment and a fantastic musician: Olzhas Qurmanbeck, master of playing Qobyz (Kobyz, sacred instrument from Kazakhstan with two strings and bipolyphony)! A supernatural journey to the plains of Kazakhstan, through Music!

I’ve always wondered if Rush later on had to create an ending to the songs that originally faded out in the studio version, or if it was already thought out back when the song was recorded years ago. I’ve noticed that some of their songs that they traditionally didn’t play live for years now have a slightly modified arrangement, which is cool, and I wonder if that’s when they wrote a new ending for an old song that originally faded out.

We could see you fine even though your lights were acting up. The early concert you mentioned was Bandstand 1974 at the Laura Secord Secondary school. Band Maid is the real deal, I have listened to everything I could beg borrow or buy and there was not a one I would not like to play, many I could not, but all that I would want to. Welcome back to the Maids. "Blooming" currently is and has been holding the #2 spot in my Band-Maid rankings for a while. This was a "homework" assignment from Kanami to all her fellow Maids. Each member provided part of the song and Kanami, being the master composer she is, stitched all together. A pinch of this...a pinch of that...and out bloomed this masterpiece. Keep rocking with the Maids. Please don't make us wait too long for another Band-Maid reaction. PO! 🕊 🤘😆🤘
