I know this is years old but, this is inspiring on many levels. From the editing to cinematography to the dedication to training and work ethic displayed. I aspire to do this

Great jump, need to use your arms a bit more to have more clearance with the upper torso.

what's your standing vertical hovering around nowadays? could be interesting to test it after completing smolov
@ezoen3 ай бұрын
I probably should have tested my vert before running through smolov but I feel like my standing vertical is almost as high as it was 10 years ago but my running vertical has drastically gone down.
@MrSupaHotKicks3 ай бұрын
@@ezoen I remember your old dunk vids even jordan kilganon commented being really impressed with your standing vert as his was barely around 40 at the time. most recently i think he tested around 46 standing.. i think if you maintained your squat after this program and gradually added plyos back in again you could get some crazy numbers again for sure
@ezoen3 ай бұрын
@@MrSupaHotKicks I think if I was dedicated I probably could but I'm too heavy right now. I weigh 195lbs-200lbs most days. I'm sure if I dropped down to 170lbs and did Plyos I'd be jumping extra. Maybe one of these days I'll drop down some weight and try to max out my vert.

I retired from track&field and shortly after that, I have just started my calisthenics journey. And the fun fact: there is plenty of people like me who just like exercises and workout more than competition. And especially for me workout is required thing as a remote job employee😅
@strongestdirector61374 ай бұрын
Remote work is the best, but yes You will look for some activities outside of the house if you are home all day working remote. I worked remote for 6 months this year then got laid off and going to the gym and the grocery store were the only time I would get out of the house.

do you ever feel any tricep (high lat) pain on your weighted muscle ups? I can't do muscle ups anymore without aggravating that area and curious to know if you've experienced it
@ezoen4 ай бұрын
on my weighted muscles up my only pain area is my shoulder from doing chicken wing muscle ups and my forearms from exhausting my grip strength. I'd recommend seeing a physical therapist. They can normally pinpoint the source of discomfort from any particular movement.

9' on the hop, 15' on the step and 14' on the jump (approx). This great practice for working on double arm action and landing in the pit. I noticed how you stretch out fully on your jump phase and then bring your legs up to meet your outstretched arms. Some athletes just try to dive straight into the pit and lose a lot of distance on their jump . The Standing triple allows the athlete to focus and get in more reps.

I love it. You should have learned from my failed attempt. Im going to do it again and lower the weight. I hung on to the heavier weight too long. I made up good time on the 100lbs. Easily doable now that we know what to expect and how it feels. Props to you for grinding through 💪💪💪
