@@servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456 I am so sorry you and your loved ones experienced these hardships. That said, like you say, God does provide and make up for what is lacking, and it’s clear He is using you to relieve suffering and spread His good news.

@@servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456 Thank you, Dr. Joe. I am still a really lucky individual. I’ve got two living parents who love me. You’re on to something interesting here-in this fallen world, we’re bound to experience lack in certain areas of our lives. Until God’s plan has been fully realized, the best we can do is trust Him and allow Him to patch the holes and relieve our pain in the way only He can.

Hi Dr. Joe. Thank you for your thoughtful reply as usual. I wrote a reply but am not sure why it isn’t showing up. You’re right that God makes up for where we are lacking. God has been right there with me through the toughest times, and He’s taught me to rely on His-the perfect Father’s-love.

Amen, yes indeed, I heard that was the case, what a good brother from the early seeking days of Gentle Faith after they had to change per Daniel Amos. Lord Jesus, you are gracious to us all our days, and kind, not to give us what we cannot bear. This brother loves you, and has desired to serve you with all his heart. None of us ever perfectly does so, thus your grace is sufficient for us, even when our understanding lacks. We leave Darrell in your capable hands - for each day given on this earth is a blessing to make a difference and bring you glory, yet should and when you call us home, how blessed it will be to forever be with you, and in your presence, never to wander, never to go errant, with the loving and caring Shepherd. Lord Darrell is yours any which way you want him. Give friends and family the peace with that decision, and help us Lord to reflect your light, love and kindness this day, and every day forward, in Jesus name.

It's not like we do a God - A wild or BIG FAVOR showing up for 1 of 168 hours in the week, and throwing a pittance tip in the offering basket, tolerating a sermon, grabbing a bulletin, and living without change or effect the rest of the week as we please. Jesus is either Lord and Savior, or He is not. We either submit to His will, or do our own thing - the Nike doctrine, which is a little different than the Nicene Creed last time I checked

The Miracle of the Gospel isn't that we "accept" Jesus ... no, the real MIRACLE is that He takes us, bad as we are, warts and all gives us a new life, a new hope, an eternal future with reward we do not deserve ... that is AMAZING GRACE 2.0 beyond measure
