Is it consistent? No…but it’s almost no loss at all if u die. The reward in this case FAR outweighs the risk of losing your “gear”

Question: Is it better to extend the 30-second timer by just setting stuff on fire that i come across? Or is it better to find high health dinos? I can't seem to find enough to kill in time to tame it in 1 go.

@@qpaulussen8803 id personally say high health dinos! More health to absorb flames from, so more taming percentage. On the lava island i always struggle to tame them, i recommend bringing them over to the main island/swamp (loads of paracers in swamp but you need to find a spot out of the water to attack or your flames will be distinguished)

At least in ASE, zomdodos spawn at the same spot as the dodorex before the fight

The dodorex follows a rule when spawning, it can only inherit the spawn locations of dodos, in other words, anywhere a dodo spawns, the dodorex can spawn.

I’m wondering what you did about the rock golems? I didn’t see how you took them out but I’ll probably bring a rocket launcher or 2 when I do it with wyvs

@@bazar2021 i didnt do anything. I kept the wyverns agroed on the manticore. Since the manticore was very low the entire fight, my wyverns got slapped by the golems. Every other fight the manticore flies around, so the golems wont even reach your wyverns.

@ appreciate your reply! lol I’m getting ready to try it too I been raising wyvs for like an entire week so I have a good 13 poison ones that should be ready to go. The melee isn’t that high on them even after a lot of levels and the imprint tho but I should be able to get them all to atleast 12k 600 and hoping it’s enough. If I lose I won’t be mad I can just raise some more I upped the raising speed to make it less brutal.

@ thats way higher than i brought it, should be totally fine! Make sure before you enter to ‘allow ai special attacks’ on them! Othersise they wont do their breath attacks. And stay within one species wyvern, otherwise they just catch eachother on fire and stuff haha!

@ lol yeah those 2 things really seem to the be the most essential. Only issue now is I’m struggling to find the entrance to the second cave. I did the first 2 a long time ago and came across the second one a couple times traveling back and forth but now it’s slipping by me somehow 🤣

Tip! Use a Deinosuchus with vampiric and numb and cold. Giga bite and run away. The gator with good traits can solo almost all bosses.

@ it’s for sure overpowered, but you have to get the broken bone effect to trigger hence running away enough so boss moves. I have soloed the dodrex and wyvern but you need cold trait or you can still die. 2 is perfect for mate boost. 👍🏻

The problem on our unofficial server is somtimes you wont see it. Does it spawn on mountains and just despawns? I look around the whole map and did nt find it two staright nights. First one i did find it and killed it with a shotty and a lot of bullets. 2mil healh on lvl 55.

@@jungleboy13 it can literally spawn anywhere on the map. Trench, desert, middle of the map, anywhere. Ive heard when people render and derender it CAN despawn. This hasnt happened to me yet though. Good stuff on your dodowyvern kill though!

It de-spawns sometimes when bum sniffers kite the zombies away and there is no one to keep the dodo rendered. My official learned this last night. Now you know too.

@@Gingarelladealing with less despawns os a huge benefit of playing single player. I also feel like in ASA it’s gotten a lot worse about that. Wyverns in general despawn hella fast in ASA and seem quicker to lose aggro. I’m on ASE and have yet to have one just forget about me and go to 50/50 instead lol.

I dont know why they allow the zombie wyvern to spawn before the dodo wyvern and only the ones who kill the dodowyvern should be able to claim them. A group of us killed it and noone got got any zombie wyverns

Tried this myself. Zero zombies left to claim and had the loot stolen. Unfortunately no Z-Wyverns for me. Im guessing you dont run to other servers to offer clone drop services?

on our offi server we usually form a random "SWAT" team, starting with a wyvern cavalry, followed by some giga and carchar riders and finally survivors equipped with shotguns.Beside that, we have the plunderers who kite the zombie wyverns away .However, i managed to capture some and those of us, who are "native" to the server share our wyverns.

I tried it on my offi server but you can forget too many ash. Nothing is granted to you, milk is stolen, everything is killed when you try to get it, everything is overbuilt and so on. There is no longer any open trap nearby. It's just frustrating trying to get the new horse. I won't even start talking...

@@klausrichter3657 yep, ive killed 6 dodowyverns so far and only got two high level zombies. Even had boss loot stolen. It is what it is, cant change anything about that sadly enough. In singleplayer you wont have these issues though :)
