It was sort of a "Danish Soap Finish". It's a new technique to me and I'm not an expert but I ordered a 5 lb. bucket of all natural soap flakes and mixed it 50/50 with boiling water and let it sit overnight before scrubbing it into the wood. I did it in batches, 2 coats in total. I didn't want to sand and stain/poly at this point in time but I'll easily have the option to do that in the future. Thanks for watching.
