The best film I’ve seen in years and one of the best ever. A true masterpiece. I laughed hard, thought hard and cried hard. This should be made more well known, I probably have seen it beforehand, but I didn’t remember. I’m so glad that it came round again . TY! 💛 P.s. Normally I rate films with a score out of 10. I give extra for the best films, I.e. more than 10 out of 10. But in this case the score is meaningless, the film broke my system and my heart and made me think of having a new lease of life and blessings. I saw this on HBO when it came out and couldn't wait to see where Bokeem's career was gonna go after this. This was the first thing I ever saw him in. Fredro did a great job too. Also the cameos with Kool Moe Dee, Das Efx, Busta Rhymes and others i might've missed. Also great directing by Forest Whitaker.
