One of my favorite Stallone vehicles, if not my number one. I remember being pumped after the TV spots and I did see it my local cinema, which was a small twin cinema that showed all the Cannon stuff. I have watched it many times since and last listened to it with commentary about three years ago.

I had the gold box that wasn’t widescreen - couldn’t read all the opening crawl and IG-88 wasnt seen next to Boba Fett in Empire. Was quite irritating… even to this day when I watch the Bounty Hunter scene I get excited because I can see everything that was meant to be seen haha

I’ve never really considered Driving Miss Daisy as an actual Comedy. Yes there’s some funny bits here and there but I’d classify it as a Drama.

If you have any digital copies of films on your mobile device, try using it on background mode and treat it as an audiobook. This really works on films you know from front to back. I think that’s an interesting way to experience a film if you ask me. I’m an Apple user though.

I advise to watch also men behind the sun. It’s a documentary-movie about true story of the 731 unit in Japan during WW2. It’s very cruel

This is one of my favourite movies and it’s not because it’s so bad or no one likes it etc. I was just at the right age and thought it was pretty enjoyable. I don’t really like the first one too much or remember it.

Ghostbusters 2 is still a very good sequel despite its advanced age. It didn't perform as well as expected due to being up against Batman '89 and The Last Crusade.

This was the pilot for the X-Men animated series from the 90's. The Konami X-Men arcade game was supposed to be a tie-in to the show, but it's based on this pilot instead.

i have a question hows the quality compared to the other vhs release? i want to buy this version i have the other this movies sick!!
@theBACarchive5 ай бұрын
Being that this copy was a former rental copy it has been worn a bit. But if you find one that was privately-owned I bet the quality will still be great. Most tapes from the early 80's were solid; and much better than cheap releases from the 90's.

Hello I just subscribed to your channel after seeing the Rebecca 1940 VHS tape in a thumbnail. I owned and operated a video rental store in 1983 thru 1989 and recognize the many tapes in your collection. When I opened my store I specialized in Classic films and was very successful for a time with offering quality, wholesome entertainment to my customers. I would personally visit my distributor to go through their library and purchase (at $57 each) very rare and exclusive titles for rental and mainly for my own personal use as well. I had one of the most popular and rarely offered library of VHS and Beta tape rentals anywhere. I drew customers away from competitors with my offering and knowledge of Silent, Classic, Foreign, Animation, Documentaries and Great movies overall. I remember most of the first edition cases and boxes that these films were released and can help verify editions if you should need any further information.
