yes, I'm aware. I did not misspell it. Yes in video if you listen closely enough, you will hear me pronounce it both ways. I do so as I have heard it pronounced both ways. I have also heard some people pronounce Cana as "can a" & "con a". How does 1 know the correct way of pronouncing the name correctly, if there is even a correct way? It may have something to do with what Nation their from & what language they speak. Thank you for your input.

Something I find ironic is, there are many KZbin videos on how to pronounce "Punta Cana' but nothing on Cap Cana. I did find 1 pronunciation for it & it was not pronounced "cap or cape" but rather "kep" & apparently "cana" is pronounced "cane a". So apparently almost everyone including yourself mispronounces it. Thank you for bringing this to my attention so I can start using Googles pronunciation & if anyone doesn't like it, they can inform Google. Lol! Have a good day.

No we did not go by main pool hours. I don't believe there is an official closing time for the Swim Outs. However, I do know that is when they shock the pools with chemicals & of course keep the noise volume down at night time. We still swam & took immediate shower afterwards to get the chemicals out of suits & off our bodies. I absolutely love a swim out. Best Swim Out Ive ever had however, was at Barcelo Maya Caribe in Mexico. But the Staff at Secrets can't be beat.

You are correct. However, you have me confused why you felt the need to tell me. According to Title I have not misspelled the name of the Community or Resort,

@@TheGforceuk oh I see you're a funny boy. Yes i pronounce it as CAPE as that is the only way i have ever heard anyone else pronounce it. So Mr. Funny boy, its not a matter of not being able to pronounce it as you stated. Maybe you should educate all the other SCC Guests & Staff at other Secrets Resorts. If I'm mispronouncing it, I have no problem with Cap like Hat if that's the English pronunciation. Allow me to ask you this, is Cana pronounced Can a or Con a? I have heard it both ways.

This Resort is a Family Resort. It is good for almost everyone. Its best for Families, Groups of Friends, Weddings, & solos looking for a relaxing Resort with a heavy Tropical vibe. There are a few couples. It certainly would be acceptable for Brothers. However, Secrets Royal is right next door & even attached. Secrets is an Adults Only with a more upbeat vibe than Dreams. Dreams Royal is very relaxing & low key. If you stay at Secrets, you get to use all amenities of both Secrets & Dreams. I don't know if you've ever been to the D.R. To me the food isn't very good at any Resort in the D.R. Most of the food is imported via boat without great refrigeration. By the time it gets to land, to the warehouse, to the Resort, than the Restaurant & finally to you, its no longer very fresh. So don't go to the DR expecting great food. Secrets food is always better than Dreams no matter what Continent your on. If you go to any Dreams, I highly suggest going Preferred, especially at Dreams Royal. To me the buffet sucks. I enjoy breakfast at the Seaside Grill over buffet. You also get a Butler to assure that your trip meets & exceeds your expectations. The Beach is wonderful & very active. Many solicitors though so buyer beware. Whatever you do, do not go with the people with #'s on their shirts that want you to go to their store. It is a horrible trap & very aggressive. I only buy from the people that I don't have to leave my chair to shop. It is great for walking & exploring. Is this a special trip for you Gentlemen? Any reason why Punta Cana area? i know many other Resorts that your group might enjoy better. Is there also a budget you want to stay in? Dreams is wonderful if you cant afford a Secrets property. However, I know some fun lively Adult Only Resorts that are easier on the pocket. I'm not a travel agent & dont get kick backs from anyone. Im just a Grandmother who is passionate about Travel.

@@Kingzall They help you get settled into your room & if you need help unpacking, they will help. They will book your Spa appts. If you need pool towels or floats blown up, they will assist. They aren't suppose to but they will make you dinner reservations if you have something special you're celebrating. If you need a Dr or Taxi, they can arrange that for you. They are basically your go to person for anything.

Yes unfortunately, there is only room for 1 lounger. We found rarely, were we both in the pool at the same time so it wasn't an issue for us. We spent most of our time at the Beach or Main Pool. It was really nice having the swim up as my Daughter could swim while I was in shower or vice versa. We also appreciated that they provided us with outstanding drink service right to the swim up & even offered to bring lunch to us from Barefoot grill.

This video was in response to the complaints in Facebook Groups just "Days" before my Arrival. So if they weren't at full occupancy when I was there, than they definitely weren't full just days before I arrived, either. April & May proved to be wonderful times of the year to visit. It is very Chill & Gorgeous. Great place to get away & relax. Secrets does have a Casino that sometimes Dreams Guests can get into. I also enjoy going to Dreams Theaters Bar as they do fancy cocktails & light some on fire. If you're going preferred, I recommend requesting Roberto or Marcelo for your Butler. They are both 1st rate. Congratulations & have an Amazing time.
