thanks for the analysis! it was so insightful, especially since i dont think i considered g6 once. honestly, im kinda baffled that it didnt occur to me since g6 has been solving a lot of problems in sicilians with f4.

thanks for giving more than just better (or different) moves. Your thinking of why another move is beneficial really helps prepare for future games. you're right, an engine can show is different/better moves, but it fails to say why

I love these "out of theory" videos... I practice a few openings, and at some point, you just gotta know chess and have good thinking, calculation, tactics, and strategy. these are so helpful! Like free chess coaching lessons...

Great advice. Your clear reasoning during the games and analysis afterwards has improved my own play heaps. Thanks for starting another “slow run”.

@@HeikkiTukiainen Hmm I dont fully agree with you. Sure the obvious opening traps dont work as often so you'll have to study all the side lines aswell. I still get alot of amazing attacking positions well above 1000 elo. Also enough KZbinrs that are still crushing with it above 2000 elo. Gotta love the Jobava baby

I'm curious if opponent's 8. d3 was a misclick, and was intended to be d4, defending the bishop? At any rate, I loved this video, because it gave us good learning about thought process and strategy when you are taken out of the prepared lines. Thanks Joey!

I think the computer graph just shows the actual evaluation of the game. If you try out variations, its not reflected in the graph.

Is this your actual rating or is this like a speedrun and you are moving an account up but have a much higher rating than this? p.s love the videos, you explain stuff really well, I like your explanations the most out of any youtuber i've watched, it feels a lot like watching naroditsky videos
