What brand of roof rack did you use? Everywhere I look online I can find the cross bars but not the actual roof rack for my 2017 flex

For everyone wondering about the tool used to remove and tighten head bolts he mistakenly called"10 point " it's actually a Triple Square 12 point 12mm . I bought an Icon set from Harbor Freight.

Great video. Getting it back in is more trouble than taking out tho. Invest in either air or battery tools. Takes half the work out.

I also start thinking a lot about position because I also recently open my S77A , and there is clear mark from snap ring on flat side of washer and mark from gears on round side of washer

I admire you tenacity getting that transmission off. Not being able to get the drive shafts off definitely made the job that much harder. Some jobs look easy initially until all sorts of obstacles and curve balls can get in your way. Great video.

Thank you so much for posting this detailed video of the job. Vey helpful, even for those with Automatic transmissions, which I have.

I'm almost finished with the assembly, but there is a plug I have no idea what it is to? If you're looking at the back of the engine, on the right side by the intake manifold there is a small round two prong black plug. It has a very short cord to it. I believe it's shown on page 49 of the Engine Mechanical in the service manual but doesn't list what it is.

I see you properly used your ACU to blend in with the aluminum 😂 great video!

Good to know about the “camshaft caps” but my dumb ass put em on the floor in prep to get em on and managed to step right on one and turned the o into a 0.. didnt crack but had to try and bend it back to round the bestni could. But fyi if anybody bends one or anything dont attempt to fix it. Its a waste of time., just get the number out the inside of it and go get another ordered from toyota.. because it wont fit right. The tolerances on those things are tighter than the naacp was to blm..

I never understood what the purpose of putting the same piston back in the same spot as where they came out if youre replacing all bearings with a std bearing, have the cylinders honed so nothings the same after and no reason why to..

Brass is NOT softer than aluminum FYI. Brass is 3 mohs, aluminum is at best 3 with some grades going down to 2.5. Should probably have use a really stiff nylon brush instead(or a thick nylon brush wheel hooked up to your angle grinder)
