way too many carbs in a week. Far too few veg. No child should be eating creamy pasta and mac and cheese in one night nor a bagel pizza. Aim for half a plate of veg. And cut down on carbs and sugar.

I feel you’re missing the point here… if you’re looking for ideas to save money, short term, hopefully it can be a starting point. Not everybody has the luxury of choosing exactly what they’d like to eat, sadly. Even if it’s a short term, temporary idea. Hopefully it gives people something to eat, rather than nothing x
@Penelope-rosa3 күн бұрын
Oh this is not realistic. £ 2000.00 is just the rent in many places in central London. Perhaps the idea is ok but not on this income. 😂
@TheBudgetMumUK3 күн бұрын
Oh definitely agree, but this is a concept based off of an income of £2000, not a rent of £2000. The numbers would obviously be much different then, as the income would be much higher. I will look to see what other potential incomes may be with this concept and what the proportions may look like then x

For a beginner what exactly to buy? Would be enough to start with a A7 wallet and 5 plastic for the money?
@TheBudgetMumUK6 күн бұрын
I think I’d start by writing a list of the things you buy most frequently, like groceries, petrol etc… whatever your things are. Then you know how many envelopes you’d need. The size depends on how you like to do it. Most people start with the A6 then add on the A7 but you can definitely do the other way around x

@@TheBudgetMumUK I love every day discovering a new meal idea. I have a break down book of ingredient cost and break down per portion. Helps me plan my expenses! I've also just found out about some good bank deals right now on savings accounts and it might be something you can cover in a future video. We are saving money but it's also important to make the most of our savings right? Martin Lewis did a great shout about chase bank. They have some very interesting features on round up savings and do 1% cash back for first year on their debit card. Plus 4.1% on savings account. You can even have multiple savings accounts with them to divide what you are saving for. So you can make your cash stuffing envelopes digitally and grow them at the same time 😀 I hope this is helpful information to everyone here wanting to make the most of their savings. Here's to a prosperous 2024 everyone!
