I will be looking into the books you suggested. But I believe God warns us about what we subjectcourselves to and I would be careful with fantasy books. I draw the line there. I put my selections under the verse, "guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life." Prov. 4:23

Hi Kay:) Anything with magic or wishes i believe we need to be aware of where its originated from. Its not biblical and its important to know what we are feeding our minds and bringing into our homes. Things may appear to be harmless, innocent and fun but the devil is very deceptive as you know. But remember the enemy is the counterfeit light of God. Ex satan worshipper, John Ramirez shares videos on his life and shares the things the devil did not want him to share. I think I just found the cure to low self esteem through this devotional. It's that I am beautiful, worthy and deserve respect, simply because I am God's creation, just like waterfalls and beautiful trees. Why do women feel the need to journal their Bible reading? Can’t the Word just stand by itself? Use a journal for personal thoughts and the Bible for contemplation. Highlighting verses is fine, but leaving notes is just…weird.
