Thank you! It was really helpful to see you disconnect the filter from the tank 😊

Thank you so much for this video! I’m 13 and my dad usually helps me take apart the filter so I can clean it but he’s not around as much anymore so I needed to do it on my own. This is so helpful!!

I wish now I would've thought to put in the plastic grate in my 55. I'm getting it ready to add mbuna to it. Half has sand and the other side river rock. I will be putting large river rock over the sand. Separating the two I have a 2 inch T of PVC pipe underneath for a cave. I don't understand why you want to pull the rocks out. You don't want to keep in beneficial bacteria? I'm new to Fish keeping. My other 55 is a FF type tank with lots of plants.

You tube is full of f video's of "American" fishtanks of all sorts. I'm from Europe, the Netherlands to be exactly. I do find most of these videos not that good. Most of the time the fish tanks are not properly set up, a lot of claims are made that are NOT correct. It's often a huge difference, and i believe that our knowledge in Europe, is from a significant higher level. The same with your video, talking about the lava rock, come on, it's not correct what you are telling. You all could learn a lot from the European hobbyists.

Bro, your tank looks beautiful! I have lava rock and dragon stone in my tank. Just be careful not to let it hit your glass. It will scratch it. I like all the different colors of cichlids. Nice job.

Females usually don't have that many egg spots on their anal fins. Most of the time, if they do have egg spots, they don't have more than one. I have a hard time believing that the first fish you introduced is a female. I also have one of those electric blue johannis - or mainganos - they are an exceptionally-aggressive mbuna.

If he upgraded to a 50, it would still be overstocked, but it would be acceptable, make it 75 and you got he perfect tank!
@MasterBlakeYT2 жыл бұрын
Tell D-rock, that his tank is overstocked af, sorry, but 3 goldfish is to much in a 29, let alone 10! then add a turtle that might eat one if it gets bigger. That tank is just sad.
@vinodhd102 жыл бұрын
It's a 4 feet tank? 48 in inches? I counted 23 fish. I having 4 feet tank. Having 23 African cichlids will work.
