The most forgettable extreme I ever seen

Season 38 felt like it was in a strange place. There’s a handful of neutral songs like Drifting Away or boring charts like ISHFWILF. I get they wanted to do more Underground ElectroPop in this one, but it didn’t do as well. I do think the season is okay tho as I do like some of the songs here

In my opinion: Song of The Season: Don’t Bring Me Down Chart of The Season: All Night In my opinion, this is a very disappointing season, mainly because the Extreme is pretty mid and more kpop songs were added to Beatstar (I prob made some k-pop stans rage after this lol). At least ELO and U2 were included but that wouldn't make up for my dislike towards this season. I would definitely say this was a downgrade from Season 37. Drifting Away was just not good and the U2 was underwhelming asl. At least the next season was an upgrade.

Songs of The Season: Your Side Of Town, Money For Nothing, Every Breath You Take Chart of The Season: Your Side Of Town, Teenage Kicks I like the idea but the over saturation of alternative and rock really makes this season feel unbalanced (It didn't help that we didn't even get a single hard chart for a killers song). The extreme is also not good at all. Aside from the 2 Iconic rock songs and The Killers songs, I wasn't really a fan of any of the other songs that much. One of the weakest recent seasons for me.

In my opinion: Songs of The Season: Runaways, Money For Nothing, Every Breath You Take Chart of The Season: Teenage Kicks, Your Side Of Town One of the most unique and authentic seasons from Space Ape. What is more surprising was that The Killers themselves chose the songs for S37 (except for the Extreme sadly). The songs and charts here are amazing, but the Extreme was simply not good.
