The problem with the election for the person who said it is a "non event": What if it is not called by Web morning or longer? What if Trump does not accept or concede a loss? What if Harris wins but House is GOP and Johnson and Republicans say they will not certify election? What if there is violence in states at vote counting centers like last time in AZ and GA where Trump said there was fraud where there wasn't. What if Trump does the 60+ lawsuits again and does not win and still does not concede and things lead to what happened in 2021? What happens if states with Republican control of courts or legislature do not certify a Harris win such as GA, NC, WI? Those are just a few options, and not the worst case.

Great video. In a previous interview with Kem Carson, he mentioned dealers don't hedge 0DTE with stock or futures and instead have to do it with other 0DTE cons. Would you be able to explain how this impacts what's being shown here?

I agree that 0DTE can be hedged with other 0DTE. However if follow that chain of logic - someone is left with exposure as various MM's trade back and forth. The other thing i'd say is you can watch 0DTE positions get closed, and see the market react. We've posted things here or on X almost daily showing this....

You can use SPX and SPY GEX and OI nodes to formulate levels for ES futures, but would be unlikely to use it directly onto futures as they don't directly inherit gamma and OI. I would say levels off of SPX would respect higher than ES levels due to how much more notional value is traded on it. (SPX - 1.6 trillion notional value ; SPY - 300-400 billion notional value ; ES - 500 billion notional value)

Stating the obvious that this does not work 100% of the time, nothing does. This is just to give you additional in depth information of the option flows, and they can help you make a good assessment most of the time, keyword most. I lost some money when I started using options positions levels from spotgamma, thinking oh it has to bounce right here bc x or y, let me load in and remove my stop bc its a strong gamma level and I dont need to worry market its going nowhere. I learned the hard way that this is not the way to use this data service. If I was the same trader today, I would have bought that 5750 hard and keep it. We closed at 5738 and even though we tested the level it could not reclaim it. So now I use the information, place my bet and if Im stopped out then it did not work and move on to the next opportunity. A good short of the break down was the play of the day.

The Charm is useful for the close which showed it bumped against that red resistance nicely, but I was short ES futures well before Trace showed anything (using my own home-made indicator and Fibonacci levels). It did break thru the call wall after a bounce, and there was nothing on the gamma or delta pressure that would have hinted a break would happen, or give me confidence to take a short position. Am I missing some key concept that would have suggested being short from mid-morning till the close?

When dealers hold for example long calls and the market goes up, why do they need to hedge that position by selling shares since they are making money? I understand the opposite situation when they are short calls and market goes up and loosing money and they have to buy shares to hedge. Please help me understand.

When they have long calls it is positive delta, so they delta hedge it with negative delta, so they are selling shares from the start with the same amount of negative delta. When their long call is going more into the money the delta of their long call is progressively getting even higher positive delta (based on the gamma) so to hedge this and became delta neutral (to have a portfolio with ZERO delta) they need even more negative delta, so they sell more shares.
