Great drummer! Pete got crazy chops but he doesn’t use them for evil by overplaying and being over the top! And he’s got a solid groove!

I wouldn’t say he was overplaying. This particular track is high energy, played live like this brings great colour to the track. The band love what he does. Level 42 has a very prominent rhythm and brass section. He’s been with them for 9 years+. If they didn’t like him, think he’d have gone by now.

This particular track is 35 years old. Mark hired Pete to bring new life to the old tracks. You really think the audience really paid to see/hear the classics played exactly as they sounded on the original recordings?
