Good video. That's the last place I wheeled at. Went a few months back. Actually did better than I thought considering I was solo along with having no lockers. I killed it on Switchback. Had a bit of a time getting to it though

Nice video. I'm from KY and lived in KY most off all of my life although I'm from the city, but wasn't until about roughly 4 years ago getting my Jeep, that I finally been to that area of the state in general let alone Turkey Bay itself. Had a blast though. Very scenic along the Lake. Definitely gave me a more broad look into the rest of my state being a city guy from Louisville on the whole other side. Plan on going back at some point some we primarily rode the length of the lake

Mud is always fun. It looks like you had a Jamboree participant with whom I have wheeled many times. I have also learned not to be immediately in front or behind him.

#4 is definitely one of my favorites in the San Juans. Doing the wall is just amazing. #3 is on my to do list for this winter. #2 is the OG of Jeep trails. I just wish the talcum powder dirt wasn't so bad. #1 & 2 are not for 33" tire vehicles (unless it is a Samurai). Imogene Pass is an amazing trail that should be converted to a 1 way trail. I hate trying to squeeze by other vehicles.
@toddhoffmaster60574 ай бұрын
Schnebley Hill is one of the bumpiest trails that really does not need to be a BOH trail. We have so many other trails in AZ that are much more worthy of a badge. Ophir Pass is the perfect beginner trail to the San Juans to help people get acclimated to the altitude and shelf roads. If people can not handle this trail then they need to stay away from the other BOH trails in the area.

It is a great place to disconnect create some adventures and have some great family time. Of course I am partial since it is my home state. PJ from Armorlite.

Fuel mileage and cost my diesel truck towing a 20 ft trailer with my jeep is still cheaper than driving my jeep so way less fuel stops
@jordandaughrity57475 ай бұрын
I have added a 6x6 block cut at an angle for my trailer flats. That way I can just pull it up on the “ramp” to change the tire vs pulling out a jack and everything.
@gumboboy54465 ай бұрын
Trailering is nice if you have the money for a tow vehicle. Cost of trucks is out of control.
@JeepinJoe5 ай бұрын
My Jeep going 55 on stickies across country would be horrible. Ram 3500 limited is a lot nicer. The ram can go 700 miles between full stops. I have 20 gallons on 93 octane on the trailer for Jeep which is hard to find out west.

Nice video. Headed there for the first time in a few months this October. Been watching a lot of videos to see how my set up will perform on my JT. What's the specs on that black Max Tow JT? Might be the most similar to mine other than it appears it may be on 37s. I'd like to see more from it. Great video though!!

I knew Coppinger had to be on the list somewhere lol. That trail is probably my favorite because of how big it is and how many ways you can explore it. I also love the 3 tunnel trail in Alabama. I actually met you while you and your friends were on it. That one is absolutely gorgeous. Those riverbed rides and 3 tunnels are great and all the people out there cooking at the waterfall.
