Pack horse bridge over the stream and a lovely example of ridge and furrow fields and the beck is named by the vikings Thorsgill Beck Thor "god of thunder " and gill for valley or ravine which flows through the nearby Thorsgill wood

We had delays from both Stansted and Gatwick coming over to Benidorm and my sister is at this present moment delayed in Benidorm airport, everyone is sitting on the floor including the elderly as there are limited seats and there's no Aircon . The bastds are making it difficult for people to travel as it will put people off holidaying abroad

Hot, noisy, vibrant, welcoming, entertaining, promenarding, eating, drinking, people watching, shows shows and more shows. Yes there are hens and stags...a lot of hens, but they tend to congregate in certain bars and clubs. There's also loads of police...SO LITTLE TROUBLE. Unfortunately you will see drunkenness but no more than seaside places in UK. Flying home on Sundays can be a challenge tho, and to a lesser flying to Alicante Friday and Saturday morning. Fantastic place.

Pubs in Pooley Bridge: "The Pooley Bridge Inn", "The Crown Inn" & "The Sun Inn" - suppose that is "quite a few pubs" compared to towns that have only one or none at all!
@DaveBartlett7 ай бұрын
"Pooley Bridge - This is the site of King Arthur's Round Table" - Incredible claims, that you don't back up - Perhaps because King Arthur's round table is a fictional item. (There's no reference to any such thing at Pooley Bridge, that I can find!) Unless you're talking about the prehistoric henge of the same name, which is located at Eamont Bridge, which is 9 MILES away from Pooley Bridge!

I try not to give a lot of information on the places i visit. My reasoning being if i tell you everything, then there will be nothing for my followers or viewers to discover themselves. As you have discovered yourself after doing a bit of search after watching this. hope you enjoyed the little journey with me

Off down south to cover all the RNLI life boats over France doing the taxi service bringing migrants to the UK so we can all pay for them to live in hotels give them council house and Medicals dentists etc.. while we can't get houses can't get medical treatment and can't get a dentist

Blame the politicians, not the life savers
@gmpgmp08 ай бұрын
@@AbsolutelyAnything-vo6sn it's not the politicians it's the RNLI travelling to France picking them up and not returning them to France they are acting as a taxi service. They are not saving life's they are creating an immigration crisis.

Hopefully i will be living back on the headland where i was born and bred a true monkey hanger. The council or P.D. ports should put the prom back to the way it was and take the crap they put on OFF because of the way it comes off easily by a few waves..
