That’s nice! I need to do this as well. I had a quick layover in Boston like 40 min… and then international flight to Germany and my luggage obviously did not make it on that plane. It took them 6 days to deliver it to us, it was so horrible ! No communication either! I would have loved to have known where my luggage was and if it was even coming during that time.

Another scenario, even if the bag didn’t get checked, someone confused your bag for theirs, and took the bag. You would easily be able to locate where it is, and get the other person their bag back.
