...I have a similar story in that I wanted g1 prime back in the day, but the movie had come out, so all that was available was ultra megnus, so I got that for Christmas. I'm watching your video because I just ordered a Kbb Mp10-V (voyager sized mp10) and I'm trying to figure out if the g1 trailer will fit, the one that is sold for the mp10-v costs 50 dollars, but I see there's a used g1 trailer for 16, it's just the mp10-v has higher leg section behind the cab...all that to say I'm still hunting down a replacment for what I didn't get in the 80's

Mate, Beast Machines Jetstorm's vehicle mode is quite reminicent of G1 Cyclonus! I owned a BM Jetstorm!

Back in 1984, my best friend got Optimus Prime for Christmas, and in 1985, he got Omega Supreme for Christmas. I was so envious of him because he had Optimus Prime and Omega, and I was stuck with smaller Transformers. Though, I still loved my Transformers. But I wanted one that was huge and also had a strength of 10 on the tech specs and a leader. Well, the following Christmas in 1986, I finally my leader, Megatron to battle against his Optimus Prime, and later, the following year in 87, my mom reluctantly bought me all 5 Predacons. Now, I finally got a robot [Predaking] who was just as big as my best friend's Omega Supreme. My Predaking and Megatron vs. his Omega Supreme and Optimus Prime. Oh, the good old days.

Thank you so much for this video, quite a Rosebud moment. So many memories came flooding back, I played with this toy so much and to see each part of it again was a joy. I got this for Christmas and was blown away by how good it was. 🙏

You've mixed up the weapons of Tentakil and Skalor. That's why the weapons do not fit into the little holes on Skalors back. These are Tentakils guns.

You could plug the smaller gun into the bigger one

When i was 9, I begged for a Metroplex for Xmas and got slapped, and my Xmas present were maths and English exercise books...so when i grown up i keep buying toys and filled my house almost without space to walk...i think is a mental problem. Recently I bought a G1 Metroplex KO, I somehow ran into tears and smile like a kid while playing it. Its like I finally owned a Metroplex in my life😢
