Very interesting idea! I wonder about does it lock to one fiducial marker? Because if the camera catches another marker, would it change the augmentation and function?
@Wikitude2 жыл бұрын
We are thrilled to hear you like this experience! For object recognition and tracking, the entire object serves as a tracker. Hope that helps!
@aru18142 жыл бұрын
@Wikitude thank you for the answer! So the content visualized is depending on which marker is on the top? Or what is the magic behind this? Thanks!
@Wikitude2 жыл бұрын
@@aru1814 yes, that's correct - the augmentations are triggered by a line of sight of the faces to the camera, whichever marker faces the camera more.
@aru18142 жыл бұрын
@@Wikitude I see! That's very interesting development! I think it will be more cool if not only for mobile AR but also can be used with AR glasses. For such many simple task app (e.g. calculator, paint draw, notes) can be done simultaneously with two or more cubes at once, then control with hands. It will makes like mini workstation on the desk with one app, low cost cube solution.

@@aru1814 we couldn't agree more! In fact, we are already working with Metarcube creators, MSM digital to bring this experience to smart glasses. You can read more about it: spaces.qualcomm.com/

Wish they had a developer version that was free instead of a trial so prototyping wouldn't just last a month. These companies that get into MR and AR often times have to prove their work before they can get on contract and get paid. Some of us have to prove it to our companies before they are willing to buy into new licenses.
@Wikitude3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your suggestion, Graham! Our free trial includes all Wikitude SDK features and can always be extended (free of charge). Our team is here to help also solve technical questions via the forum even if you are just getting started with Wikitude. Once you are confident and ready to publish your app, which is the only limiting factor of the trial, we can help you chose a license that best fits your use case and company. If you need anything we're here :) Thanks
