With all due respect, the root cause of the confusion in the teaching of this Bete Eminet is that its doctrine is based on the writings of few founding leaders; but NOT on the pure word of God, the Holy Bible. These writings and the doctrinal teachings guided by these writings are full of contradictions against the Holy Scripture. Moreover, the writings and doctrinal teachings contradict among each other lacking consistency and coherence, and this is happening among the leaders and teachers who claim that they have one doctrinal teaching. Nowadays, those teachers and writers are doing their best to correct the doctrinal fallacies in their teachings after the damage has gone worse and rampant. Everyone in this religious group has a varying doctrinal understanding regarding who God is and the identity of Jesus Christ. I've encountered several members of this group who believe that God Himself is the Word. This same teaching appears in the book entitled "Be siga yetegelete anid Amlak (in Amharic)". Now, the writer of that same book is trying to correct the doctrinal fallacies through this video while that teaching still exists in that book. There is NO CURE without a decision to burn those books and the associated doctrinal teachings based on those writings to be followed by a complete come back and humble submission to the sole authority of the pure word of God, the Holy Bible. It's timely and appropriate to pronounce that the entire effort of replacing the one true God of Israel (Exodus 8:10; John 17:3) with Jesus, the Christ of God, the Son of God, and the salvation of God (Luke 2:29-32; Ephesians 1: 3-21), to form a non-Biblical version of one God is totally non-Biblical and contradicts the total Biblical context of the Holy Scripture. Isaiah 43:10: "You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me." Malachi 3:6: "For I am the Lord, I do not change; ...." James 1:17: "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." Everyone who teaches the word of God should know that he can not escape a strict judgment at the time appointed by God. Mark 9:42: "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea." James 3:1: "My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment."
