I like the videos of the Illawarra line. I grew up in Austinmer and it’s always a nostalgia trip for me. It’s such a beautiful area.

Didn't know Manildra Group had its own locomotives... surprise. The light show from 22:25 is very beautiful, even if you can't see much of the train itself. Greetings from Germany

Any chance the electric 86 could make a come back on freight trains?
@eol87667Ай бұрын
actually no, because the 86 class was only reactivated back in sydney for track maintenance duties. as their the main only allocated & restricted electric locomotives reactivated to service trackwork maintenance. with already enough sufficient number of rollingstock being used on number of freight logistical services. they won't have the need to use 86 as their decades old, no longer serving freight services anymore.

I remember seeing the first train passing Gresham. Awesome seeing it in a different place on youtube afterwards!

I really enjoyed this video which had a couple of surprises at#6:12 with 2 restored electric 86 Class locomotives and the MAN locomotives which I am not familiar with and appeared to be new builds. The most impressive footage for me was the train piercing the darkness with a magnificent headlight show and its slow disappearance back into the darkness. Fantastic video, well done 👍👏

Really great catches! This video deserves a Like. 👍 These trains look similar to the ones in the United States,🇺🇸 and Canada.🇨🇦 The locomotives are different though. They look interesting. 👍 I also record videos of trains if you’re interested.

“One for posterity” this one, now that SSR have taken over the Manildra contract. Fantastic footage: The South Coast Line is a beautiful line, especially the Kiama - Bomaderry section. Nice to see the arrangement of the Endeavour standing aside for the Manildra train at Berry seeing as that’s a reversal of what normally happens elsewhere in the state.
