After being in this business for 3 years now, I have seen why a lot of companies limit the weight to 4klbs. We require it too, but if I see your setup, i may allow different...ive got a guy who pulls a F-350, but he does it in a way that is acceptable

How do they work? Most of the wireless I’ve seen have a plug to plugged into the towing vehicle and there isn’t a plug on the chassis.

@@DaveRea I had it made, for myself. The fabricator I used is trying to find a loophole in his insurance because he found out his policy doesn't cover trailer hitches. Stay tuned for any news on this Thanks for watching my video

@@JJ38255 I would suggest 2001 or newer. That's when it got the new 2.3 l 4-cylinder engine that was also used in the focus.

@@ScottMcKay-y2b thank you for watching my videos. I made the hitch myself with a metal fabricator. I was planning on making more but we are having problems with the insurance policy. Stay tuned. Hopefully we can get this worked out soon

Whats the chain rating you have? That pinch hitch can hook up to other vehicles?

The pinch is very heavy and clumsy. It was made by the owner of the company I work for. It's only good for cab and chassis , and any frame of a tractor. It's too heavy to he mounted like other pinch hitches. The chains I use are rated at 4600 lbs each, or close to that amount.
