I was at the show...my first time seeing Tegan and Sarah although I've been a fan forever! They were simply AMAZING! I do have a question....why did it seem as if the show ended abruptly? (no encore, stage being dismantled and the house lights coming on during the last song...)

The "encore" was the 2 songs after Grant and Kirk left. T&S have mentioned they kind of hate just standing to the side for 2 minutes, it's awkward ha. They just don't do an encore as much anymore to avoid. Also check my videos from earlier in the tour. I forget which ones, but they mentioned a few times the show is an artistic take on their perspective of touring. So the dismantling and lights are part of the artistic take on it! So glad you got to see them! They truly are amazing live! 💜💜

I think the theatre staff had a hard out? We were told the show was supposed to end promptly at 21:45 (it did not). But also, Tegan definitely plans out encores, but I think they just chose not to this time. The set was perfect and tragic just the way it was.

8 minutes of perfection right here. Love Sara’s vocals and Tegan’s in the case during Terrible Storm, the transition, Tegan’s vocals and Sara and Kirk playing their part during City Girl (I couldn’t really see this part), and the lighting. You got the best seat! Definitely gonna replay this one a ton 😄
