Hard to believe this was 25 years ago... the tail-end of popular music being about vocals, bass, keyboards, guitar and percussion - straight up band tunes. It was the next 5 or 10 years after this where a lot of music starting switching to the poppy synth stuff that's so prevalent now, the spread and evolution of hip hop, cheaper music in my opinion, not all hip hop but a lot of it...couldn't dance to it, couldn't meditate on it - just fills me with nothing. Garbage is a great band, they stand the test of time and they are definitely one of the bands I refer my niece and nephew to when they want to hear tunes from 'my day'. They like it, a ton, though sometimes I think it makes them feel shittier than they're used to, but it's good for them to have somebody in their lives let them know that life is hard, and they won't be the shiny, bright diamonds they are in school right now - that they'll have to suck it up at some point and acquire skills, get in the game, or get left behind.

It is 2025. And this is one hell of a concert. This is the personification of the 90s right here. This lady right here not only was she smoking hot but she could sing her fucking ass off. I was a teenager back then and now I'm an old timer. And I tell you what goddamn I would give anything to go back to what I consider the last great decade. The fashion the movie The music just the way life was the 90s was the last hurray. And thanks to uploads like this via the modern world for at least an hour I can transport my mind back to the 90s while listening to this fucking awesome concert.
