For a player like John who plays a draw, we are naturally going to see the RPM's float around the 2000 mark (he hit 4/6 in the 2000's with an average 1978 with a standard deviation of 87). Which for a player who plays a draw is not bad at all and realistically what we expect to see. Ideally we want to find him some more spin to live around 2100 on a draw but based on the catalog of numbers, he's in a good spot, especially with the launch angle close to 14*. I'd be more concerned with John's spin rates at the speed he swings if his launch angle was closer to 10* than 14*. It's easier to control lower spin rate shots if the launch and peak height is up. All in all, John is in a good zone where he can still control the right to left shot that he wants.

When the trouble is in front of you on the course, you want to make sure you have the confidence in the club to get after it a little more and swing freely to take the trouble out of play. With a proper fit, Tyler gave us a good example of being able to confidently go after it and see the results he wants while still being able to control his miss.

The description of the future fit 33 adaptor was totally dishonest advertising. The Cobra adaptor is NOT "the first time you can decouple loft and lie", nor is it the only system that allows the player to choose flatter settings. You can independently change loft and lie, and have been able to for quite some time, with both Callaway and Titleist. Indeed, the Cobra adaptor is simply a rip off of Titleist's system, but with more notches that allow for more, smaller adjustments. Did Cobra pay for this video to be produced?
@yourbestgolf36517 күн бұрын
You have no idea what you are talking about. Neither of the adapters mentioned ( and I play a Callaway driver and have for many years) do what you say. That is why this adapter is such big news. I suggest you educate yourself on the subject before yammering in about things that you don't understand.
@Worldwide_Golf16 күн бұрын
Thanks for your comments. This one is quite tricky. To be fair the Titleist and Callaway can de couple loft and lie. The Cobra FF33 system is the first fitting hosel that has a true center that can decouple loft and lie adjustability both up and down 2 degrees. Titleist can adjust loft up .75 and 1.5 degrees. But only goes down one setting at .75 degrees. Their lie angle can only go one setting flat at .75 degrees and upright to 1.5 degrees. With the adjustments, it manipulates true center and only 16 settings configurations. Callaway’s has only 8 settings. In loft they have std and can be adjusted up 1 & 2 degrees and down only 1 degree. In lie angle they can only go upright just over 2 degrees with the same loft settings. Std, up 1 & 2 degrees and deloft 1 degree. True center with hosel adjustments in the FF33 system is an important point here because when you adjust true center of a clubhead (like you would in the Titleist and Callaway sleeves) you are essentially changing the position of the center of gravity (CG), this directly impacts the ball flight by influencing launch angle and spin. Overall, the FF33 system from Cobra is very robust and definitely worth a test. Hope this helps!

Wilson putter... staff model TM22... really the most fantastic and comfortable one I have ever used other many brands. Weight not light but a little heavy that feel perfect that hit the ball running directly to the hole without worry about shaking putter head when back/forward swing. Touch of ball make me totally satisfaction everytime. I guess this time it maybe nearly out of stock at market, so if you find any, get it quickly.
@hbyrdut26 күн бұрын
The first time he hit the LS he was longer and his standard deviation offline was better so why did you go with the last setting? His spin was high with all of them
@Worldwide_Golf24 күн бұрын
The last adjustments that were made to specifically try to manipulate weight just a touch to find him some more forgiveness on off center strikes as well as play more into his personal preference. Woody likes to hit a draw so putting him more upright helps him fit the shot shape to what he likes to see. While the offline standard deviation on his first take was a bit tighter, his miss was more centralized to the right. For a player that likes to see the ball go left, the hosel adjustment to upright allowed Woody to swing confidently and see the ball move left as opposed to right. The lower standard deviation on spin rate in the final fit gave us the ability to adjust to his preference without significantly compromising distance or dispersion.

why was it a fade, although the path was +2,2 and the face -1,2 this should draw shouldn't it?
@Worldwide_Golf28 күн бұрын
David typically gets shallow under and while that typically leads to a draw on an in to out path, he tends to exit more left which almost promotes a push cut. We will see this happen from time to time on longer clubs. Shorter clubs (even with exiting more left) on a +2 path with a -1 face angle, you will more often see a draw.

@Worldwide_GolfАй бұрын
On the surface it's a lot but most fitting systems when you adjust up and down in loft either open or close the face. This system allows you to adjust without additional manipulations. Recommend giving it a try!

Swing Weight and Grip size_ Considering how important is swing weight, why is is very rarely mentioned in fitting sessions like this? TO a lesser degree grip size, but with similar impact on dispersion and distance. Would love to hear your thoughts
@Worldwide_GolfАй бұрын
Thanks for reaching out! In fittings like this, the manufacturers will typically have their shaft options built out to standard length with specific grips to maintain their Swing Weight specifications. They will have some shorter/longer options as well but for fittings like this, they don't often get tested. Swing Weight adjustments outside of this we typically see when the fitter takes the player through some shorter/longer shaft options where we need to adjust head weight to bring the Swing Weight back to standard or up or down if the player has a particular preference. Nine times out of 10, most of the fittings like this that you see don't call for shaft length or head weight adjustments simply because the OEM specifications for Swing Weight meet the masses for the average golfer or it is not something that is in the consideration pool. From our experience, Swing Weight is often overlooked or not understood by the average golfer. It is something that is taken into much more consideration for golfers of higher caliber. In our fittings that we do, it is something that we take into consideration and have the necessary tools to adjust as needed with shaft length options and weight kits. Our Cool Clubs fittings take this concept to another level. And you are correct! Grip size can give you differences in Gram weight that should absolutely be a consideration for Swing Weight!

I think if you mishit the ball should go less distance. If you hit it off centre it should hurt. This makes you better. I know nobody will agree but its how I got better. I used blades as a kid and struggled. Now i can hit blades fine! Im sure it helped

I think it’s time for a new set of these beauties. I’m currently still using the original oversized TaylorMade bubble shafts 1995.
