good series of videos. Are there any more online interactive courses or videos on oracle forms that you recommend me follow? I would like to further improve my understanding of this application.

Hi Ricardo, is the image for the splash screen must be .tiff?
@RicardodaRocha
@RicardodaRocha 3 жыл бұрын
Good day Kamlesh, Apologies for the late reply. No, it does not need to be a TIFF. You can use most image formats, and simply just change the extension for whichever type you're using. If you check the procedure in the help file, they specify all the different pictures types you can use.

Good morning, Do you mean you used Oracle Forms 6i with Oracle Database 10g? If that's the case, then I think you might be out of luck. 6i was a little before my time but I believe the forms created in it ran as Windows application rather than a web form. The only thing I can think of is if you manage to get Oracle Forms 10g you might be able to open and convert the FMB file in 10g.

UPDATE: Just an update regarding this video. Many people have asked me why I do not use voice overs. I specifically created these videos so that the students I teach have access to additional material outside of class and our LMS. Because we are based in South Africa, where internet access is still a challenge and mobile data costs are high, one of the key goals when I made these tutorials were to keep them as small and bandwidth efficient as possible, thus the lack of voice overs. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect that the videos would become so popular outside of my small circle of students. Please let me know if you would like to see more videos, and if yes, which topics would you like to see covered?
