Hey was wandering how your gas tank was working. I had to do mine. So took it to a shop to clean and coat. They of course told me that new tanks don't last 6 months. But I think they were just telling me that.
@leonardwalters1544 күн бұрын
Ok, buddy good video for people that has never changed one,but I do have a question, if the blue is the input ( a.k.a. pressure side) and its off no water in the tank, how does the output side red have pressure? Good video tho for younger viewers
@essigspeed3 күн бұрын
I'm scratching my head on this one. If there is no water in the tank, I don't see how either side could have pressure unless it was shipped with air in it. I always thought they shipped them in a vacuum to keep out moisture. Now, if you are talking about cracking it loose to let it drain, that is like holding your finger over a straw with water in it and the water will stay in it until you remove your finger or, in this case, relieve the pressure/vacuum. However, either, way there would have to be water in the tank, so I am clueless. Hey, one for the younger viewers, Yippie! Now back to cars/trucks...

After that, God willing, it will be AMC's for most of the winter 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Can't see anything, not nothing. There is a manual door latch on the sides of the seats by the power seat buttons on the floor. Just lift them up to exit the car in an emergency. The Z51 is the performance suspension. The box on the top of the windshield is for the cell phone , GPS antenna and the on star system. The smoked glass plastic item is a wind deflector that attaches to the top of the windshield. The engine is an LS2 400 hp base engine.

I would respectfully suggest that if you're going to post videos on KZbin that you develop a thicker skin. Should your channel grow to the point where your videos are regularly generating thousands of views, you will undoubtedly receive many more comments than you currently receive and some of them whether deservedly so or not will be more critical than others. Thats the problem with text, you can't hear the laughter and joke in the comment. My English is quite good if I want it to be, but slang is comfortable. Will the system draw in Freon without the compressor initial running?
@essigspeed11 күн бұрын
Yes and no. The pressure in the can will push it into the system and the vacuum will help pull it in until the pressures equalize and/or the compressor turns on.

@henrybourdon671217 күн бұрын
Aspen or Dart sport, duster, demon , call it what you want those floor pans and trunk pans will fit even if you have to trim them a bit. Use you imagination a little. Now the trim parts can be a issue but even those can be worked and restored to make it a perfect driver to have fun in as a hot rod. I have used front fenders to fix rear quarter panels and after paint no one could tell what i did.

Don’t know where you got that 16.5” wheel nonsense from. Original wheels for those cars were: 16”x 8.5” 32mm offset, 5.5” backspace and/or 16”x 9.5” 38mm offset, 6.25” backspace.

LOL! There is actually a video on the fabrication of that exhaust. I reused the exhaust from a 1973 Satellite, and it was some weird alloy that wouldn't take weld very well. Fence post, I think. Not to mention it was old and rusty. Bad weld, for sure but quite functional. I was hoping no one would notice, LOL!

I also have an 07 and for some reason mine won’t crank I thought it was the head gasket but now that I’m doing more research I don’t think it is and was talking about selling it dude I happened to be trying to sell it to is a mechanic and said it shouldn’t be the head gasket then so now I’m just lost and confused
@essigspeedАй бұрын
Wont crank or will crank but not start? Won't start is usually a lack of fuel or spark. Wont crank is usually starter, relays, or switches. Is it throwing a code/check engine light? If so, most auto parts stores will scan it free, or you might can buy a cheap scanner for under $100.00. I have let the dealer diagnose vehicles for me and then I take it home to fix it.

When I bought my last house, I bought a new mower. It lasted about 5-years before needing parts (not counting belts). I paid nearly 2-grand for it. The mower in the video was second hand, cost me two hundred and I got 2-years out of it before having to fix it. Of course, I got over 10-years out the new one before it gave up the ghost. We will see how long this one lasts.
