the remake is one of the greatest films of all time. I LOVE Audrey's voice though.. the dynamic range sells the songs to some degree. To go from so diminutive to so bombastic. She's like a mouse that sings like a lion.

Legend, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Beastmaster, and Ladyhawke were staples of my '80s childhood. They were movies I could watch all the time and never get bored of watching them multiple times.

Actually Sheena Queen of the Jungle is a female version/counterpart of Tarzan rather than Beastmaster.

Magatron transformer . Light Bright . I want to Bite Your Finger . Dukes Hazard Car . Doctor Drill And Fill . as with certain video games we didn't realize right away a lot of them were so bad they eventually got thrown out but certain action figures have been made a lot better an fun to play with . 💯💯 Angry Game Nerd . Markiplier . Jack Septiceye . Piper Blush . great chanbels to watch in addition to this one here .

I know Cobweb is a different "monster" type movie, but it reminds me of Psycho 2. Poisoning the parents, spying thru the walls, etc. Didn't realize it until watching this.

Thought the series was good when i was a late teenager, but i cant finish a full one with totall atrention as an adult. Had a different take on the Charlie Band Road Shoe than Abbe did. Dude totally gave off creeper and sleeze vibes. But thats another story. Good episode folks!

Alien (1979) directed by Ridley Scott and The Thing (1982) directed by John Carpenter both of them are my favorite sci-fi horror movies because both of them are all about fear and paranoia and isolation and I consider the both of them the greatest sci-fi horror movies ever created and Aliens (1986) directed by James Cameron is my favorite sci-fi action and horror movie and all three of them are on the top of my list as the greatest sci-fi movies anyway Rest In Peace Bill Paxton as Hudson and Bill Paxton will be forever rememberd as the greatest and the coolest marine in Aliens (1986) and God bless Sigourney Weaver as Ripley and God bless Carrie Henn as Newt both Sigourney Weaver and Carrie Henn will be forever rememberd as both the greatest and the coolest actors in Aliens (1986) the greatest sci-fi action and horror movie ever created and directed by James Cameron as well amen:).

@@HormonalWerewolves well my friends I believe The Thing (1982) directed by John Carpenter should be paired with Alien (1979) directed by Ridley Scott because both of them are all horror and no action in both of them as well:).

8:56 -I mean, the full frontal nudity in that scene is what got the movie an X rating for the time so they might as well have played it up as much as they could. Lol

Wait..wasn't it "chowderhead" society? I sweat that's what I remember..maybe from the book? I listened to the book on tape not long after seeing the movie as a kid..I thought the point is that they kind of were labeling themselves as a group of idiots. Kind of like a men's club might do purposeful ribbing if themsleves or because they were friends since they were kids, perhaps it's something people called them then and they embraced it as a joke..but then of course they all acted like chowderheads which lead to the dark secret that is the root of their meetings anyway.

My favorite all time horror movie. Fun fact: the house I grew up in when I was a kid had the same doorknobs as the Freeling house in the movie, which made it creepier.

I saw it on a date when it was first released. At the time it was my favorite horror movie and still one of my favs. As I have gotten older the nature of how memories linger and even become more impactful as you age really rings true.

Just finished the movie and now the cast. I dug the score a bunch. That harp kinda thing that they had going reminded me of the Shining. They had that in there a few times too. The goofy ghost effects were fun , and Alma had a nice rump for a ghost! You can't beat having the voice of John Houseman in a movie. Thought there were too many attempts at jump scares though. Like every 4 mins was a jump scare.
