the mirror and the spice rack - specifically the work of Max, Thomas, and Keaton, will live forever. it was an amazing run post-pandemic when we all really needed this and I can’t wait for what’s to come. RIP to the venues that came before and inspired these spaces. Pre-pandemic venues like Portlandia House, Waluigi’s Mansion, and The Source laid such important groundwork. I want them to be mentioned here too. Shoutout to the rat den. and the igloo. Shoutout to all the great bands over the years too. C/U DIY forever

id also like to mention organizers like the collective magazine. the great people who started the powder room. people who took risks booking shows at spaces like the imc and the urbana dance company.
