Sloganize a movement (Stand in the Gap) In the King James Version of the Bible in the Book of Ezekiel chapter 22, God became very angry with a tribe of people that lived in the land. He had provided them with a very wholesome life. On this visit, He observed this tribe had developed a conspiracy throughout the land: They had taken treasure and precious things, the ministers of the time had violated His laws and profaned His holy things, they put no difference between the holy and profane, even He was profaned by them, they had gotten dishonest gain, their vanity was out of control, they exercised robbery beyond measure, and most of all was their (DIVINING LIES)!! God said: “I sought for a man among them, to stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.” “Therefore I poured out mine indignation upon them.” It is not too late to retrieve yourself. Step up to the plate, take your constitution back. Declare yourself: Join the movement in the name of God: (Stand in the gap)!!

Several years ago I was working part time and was paid twice a month. On one payday after receiving my paycheck it went missing from my purse in a sheared office simi open to the public. It was in a drawer that was used by the staff to keep there belongings. There were 3 or 4 other staff members on duty that day along with 2 to 3 dozen non staff members. I had about 5 dollars to my name until I cashed my check. My gas tank was nearly empty and my food stuff was low as well. I don’t remember exactly when I discovered that the check was missing but I do remember that I was so angry that I was nearly in a rage. It was Friday night and the church that I was attending had a Friday night prayer service every week. I brought a bag of hard candy it was a dollar back then, and went to church. For probably an hour I on my knees chewing that candy and silently crying out to God for help in dealing with the rage that was in my heart and mind. I remember telling God that the money came from Him and was His to do with as He wanted but that I need His help with my anger. I don’t get angry easily and really stay angry for more than a couple of hours. But that day I could not let it go. After a while God brought me to a place of peace and quiet in my heart and I was able to forgive whoever had taken the check. I went home, slept peacefully, and went to work the next morning. It was looking like rain and was sprinkling so I grabbed umbrella. I opened it on my way into the office and my paycheck fell out. And no my umbrella had not been in the office the day before.

i don't like how most teaching on tithing is by those who simply know the verses about tithing, but they have not studied why some don't believe in it. it is like going to a Ford dealer and asking why Ford is better than Chevy. to make an honest assessment you would have to go to a Chevy dealer and see what they say, too.

I thought I was an atheist, but seeing western civilisation under attack both psychologically, spiritually and physically, and after realising my country is so great because of the Christian framework it had to build off, I've become spiritually conscious and passionate about this subject. I'm still early on my journey and I'm not even Christian, but I want Christianity to remain dominant, especially over these new age religions of wokism and the like in the west.

@Mr. I've noted for some time the differences between societies which are heavily influenced by Christianity to cultures/countries where it's either passively absent or strongly opposed. Countries (and individuals) standing in opposition tend toward oppression esp. of women & children. Turning to Jesus means a change from the inside as the holy spirit creates a new person within. That's the only thing that truly transforms societies.

I mean, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, it doesn't really matter much what happens to your body after you die, it just matters where you are with the Lord. But I understand what you mean.
@TheVineOfChristLives3 ай бұрын
In Revelation God says “behold, I make all things new” so don’t worry what for the body you become when you die, worry more about the eternal judgment of being separated from God for eternity.

I want to be cremated with a living urn that grows into a tree. My son always told me when he was little that he wanted me buried under a tree so he could sit with me and read books to me. My parents told me that cremation is a sin, I am so torn

I told my daughter, “don’t you dare burn me.” I do not want to be in an urn on the fireplace mantle or sprinkled over whatever. Cremation is so creepy and bizarre to me and so disrespectful to a body that has served as your temple in life.
@sorain42483 ай бұрын
The church has always condemned cremation, and in all of church history it has been denounced as unnecessary violence to the sacred temple of a human body. You need more than just those books.

I’m sorry to say this, but this QA is not important. Instead of going on what the Bible says about traditions or rituals like this. You should remind them that none of it matters! Flesh and blood shall wither but the soul is eternal.
@justsomeguy8593 ай бұрын
Jesus himself said that if your eye causes you to sun, then cut it out, because it is better to enter heaven with one eye than go to hell with two eyes. And when he rose, he still had his wounds from the cross on his body. So I’d say there is strong biblical evidence that not only do people have a body in heaven, but that it is in some way the same body you had on earth. So if you get cremated, you might go to heaven as a pile of ashes.
