The exhaust sounds great. Do you have its model name? "Kawasaki Z125" returns no results on the Delkevic website. Did you use one for the Honda CB125R?

Im not sure this will hold up. There isnt any perfect spot to mount the intercom on my helmet. There double sided tape isnt fully touching

What sort of bikes do you find around that area? Mostly powerful ones or a few smaller ones as well? Would you take your old Kawasaki up that hill? And how easy is it to keep your speed down when going down a hill like that one into Lynmouth?

There were a fair few 125cc/ smaller capacity bikes we saw during the ride. Because of the great views and steep terrain most people are taking it quite easy so I don’t think a 125 would be out of place! I think you could make it up the hill for sure, I’d keep my fingers crossed for a clear road but I don’t think you’d have any issues! Keeping the speed down was all okay too, with a bit of engine braking and brakes you’ll have no problem in my opinion! Only thing I wouldn’t want to do on a 125 is the ride over to north Devon, as that might take a while. I hope this helps!

Cool vid, I'm looking forward to buying this bike but I have one question. How tall are you? Currently I have 125cc Romet ZK, I want to move to kawasaki but I read that it's dimension's are smaller (its naked ik, while my romet is not but still) I'm quite tall and I am too big for my romet and If kawasaki is even smaller I won't even bother lookin for it. I'm 194cm (6ft4 I believe?) Ride Safely!

Hi, I know it's 2 year old video, but just wanted to mention that's true that Z125 fits taller riders better than Yamaha MT125 which gets recommended. I couldn't fit Yamaha at all (6"3') and on Kawasaki i felt comfortable where on Yamaha my legs couldn't get under the tank and were much more cramped. It's not only for the height of seat when looking for a bike when you tall.

Hi mate, it’s tricky to say why that is exactly without seeing it - are you giving the bike lots of revs when you’re pulling off? When is it that the bike stalls? When you go to drive off or while you’re sat at the lights?

Yes, 72 mph means real or gps 65 mph which each and every 15 hp 125 cc can do. Everything else is professional tuning.

Thank you! I am quite tall at 6’2 and i would say it’s been perfectly comfortable for me - any taller and I do think your knees would risk poking into the front plastics which would not be comfortable! I hope that helps 😊

Hi , see you’ve fitted bar risers ? Did you have any issues with control cable and brake line length ? Are those standard bars ? I have a 2016 Z250SL , basically the same bike but with a fair bit more power . Nice videos .

Not at all! I think it really depends on what you want to do on the bike, if you’re after sometime to get about town on and take some nice trips semi-locally (within a couple of hours each way) then a 125 will do the trick for sure! If you think you’ll be looking at long multi day trips with lots of mileage I would flag that a 125 can be pretty vibratey and your wrist is almost always fully twisted - so something to consider! 125cc’s are brilliant bikes though, small and nimble enough and great fun, definitely get one and safe riding!

I know nothing about motorcycles but read that the top speed is 64 mph and the fuel tank is 2.0 gallons. What is the mpg? What is the maximum range on a single tank?

I think the top speed is slightly higher on the z125 - I’ve topped out at around 75mph (down a slight hill) with me a 90kg man on it! I have never completely worked out the MPG exactly but would guess I’d get in the region of 185 miles on a tank, with an 11Litre tank that’s a MPG of around 76. I hope that helps 🏍️🏍️

Pretty central, I have mine mounted just to the left of the air vents in the centre of the helmet, this seems to work well and give a clear sound without picking up every breathe I take!
