Worst piece of software i ever seen. Unstable, not user friendly, buggy, with bad support of non-windows clients (try to connect Android/Linux client to latest server... you will be surprised). If you have choice - get ANY other solution (like Cisco or OpenVPN with official support).

you can just do-> adduser -u 0 -g 0 -o root -s /bin/bash newuser then change its password and get the shell when you create the new users. You do not need an scpusers file and probably shouldn't mess with your built in or main admin account. you only need to have a bash shell for most programs that use scp.

Hello "The Soul" There are a few simple commands to run to enable SCP on your CP. Try these and you'll find that you will be automagically logged in with expert and then you can SCP files into and out of the device. #vi /etc/scpusers (press i) admin (control + c) :wq! #chsh -s /bin/bash admin Make sure that the username "admin" is defined in the checkpoint as an administrator, or replace admin with whatever username you use to log into the device
