It’s incredible to hear these stories directly from the source! I’m truly honored to have been part of the legendary Lick Parties. Back in the mid-80s, before those iconic days, Trevor was an actual mentor to me during the pirate radio era. Many of the classic tracks in my own collection, were ones I first heard from him on the airwaves. He’s absolutely right-radio was so much more impactful than a club night. For me, radio was everything.

Honestly found this a struggle to get through guys… too many guests made it very disjointed. I generally love your end of year wrap ups so I’m not a total hater haha

This episode was amazing. Really enjoyed it. Funcrusher Plus is my favorite record of all time. I have some history with Coflow so this episode brings back some nostalgia for me. I'm still good friends with Bigg Jus, and I'm probably an even bigger fan of Coflow then Myke C-Town. LOL

1:02:20....bro I finally took offense 😆. Not all of us. I picked up qwik fast that he switches characters in the middle of a verse and that he is a human...I need to meet keith "fans". I'm the only person I know who listens to him. I was raised in some very trill crap and was raised that most rap is snitch music and noise that cops use to mark you and F with you. Like the man uses it to get people to snitch on they self....that being said, say you can't stand "fans" who don't get what's really going on. I'm in music myself so maybe I just understand a little more than the average. This my last post here lol. Kool Keith. MFDOOM. Deltron. Canibus. The 4 pillars. And EM played too much on Keith's styles and he like canibus said ..he's an institution.....well let's stop acting like he's that damn good especially when they use production techniques to make him sound more complex than he is....loveeeeee tech9 epic...but not as fast as may seem as when you ise syncopation with sound and speech can create a false sense of velocity and speed that's not really there in skill as after a certain rate the words physically fall apart.....just saying...... Thank you for one of the best shows on music I have seen in a long time.

56:00 mark. Very true. Other interviews tho him and other artist flat out say they don't care about ones choises but to be a fake dangerous POS and play like your cool and straight...not nice words je says in album and similar artists say it too but I think it's about the fake two face people that make life and being in the industry too much or flat out deadly....i mean look what Quincy Jones had a hand in with MJ look at diddy and all this mess now.i was co-raised by a gay cpl as a kid and they warned the F out of me about alot and like keith they told me.dont F with the BS and stay away from victims and haters....again not defending homophobia just pointing out that they may speak harsh because of the lack of honor, honesty, self-respect and respect given. The cpls name was Rob & Less. R.I.P to Robert. I'm alive cuz of yalls help thank you.

27:30....play their work next to each other, and it actually seems like they are dbl teaming the game. Dr. Nogatco and Viktor Vaughn albums are like A and B side tracks to the same project, among other similarities. Sorry for talking so much.

My "dad" said listen to this ignore other rappers.....I was a kid and ignored him....6yrs ago or so I decided while at work to finally listen(almost 30yrs later lol) to Dr. Octogin. Didn't like it right away....a year or so and he pops up in feed and I try DR.DOOOM....I'm a huge MFDOOM fan and have noticed plenty of references from hin in music about octo......so yeah. Been thankful ever since.
