You can try but it will only last a few rubs. Emery paper is the toughest and I tried it... 1 wall face later and it was no good..

I just tried this, it pulled bits of render out my wall..

That's a shame did you use acrylic render or cement render as this will is acrylic render and it worked really well. It shouldn't have pulled any pieces off the wall given this hardly any pressure on the Block at all.

Hello - Great tip, thanks! Did you end up testing your theory on cement render? As I’ve got a front wall fence similar to that with cement render I’m looking to start work on!

I'm not sure how coarse cement render is compared to acrylic render but mine was very Jagged with sand sticking up

I didn't put much pressure on the block just left the weight of it do the job all I have to do is do Circular motions it does give you a good bicep workout over the course of an hour or two

thanks for posting this !! I am trying to explain CLEARLY to french lady the fate of marshmallows !! And to call her a "marshmallow" (sweet nothing? fluffy thinker? bleeding heart? fuzzy liberal?) is NOT to treat her as a marshmallow! Right now I think she is MAD AS HELL !! All is lost if your cute kids cannot calm the savage beast (irate french lady) Good on ya from america!!
