I wish there were somewhere to play this very enticing sport... I don't think Padel has reached the American consciousness yet... it probably won't have the same explosion Pickleball has had, because it's much faster pace and requires more athletic ability

Ladies playing tennis on a padel court. The white hits an Alcaraz worthy topspin winner whilst the green is late to the net (should have stayed back as the shot wasn’t deep enough for an approach)

So the greens are defending, losing the net, then choose to regain the net on an easy lob and get killed by an easy bajada.

Any advice on how someone could get involved in tournaments like this to begin with? I started playing earlier this year and would like to start playing in tournaments of a lower level but can't seem to find much online. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Y es lo único que queda para los viejos 😢. Jugar padel. Solo se ven tenistas frustrados. Quizás en unas décadas cuando siga mejorando el deporte y se juegue en más países podrá ser un deporte

@@kimisaac3774 la verdad soy jugador de tenis. Y aprendiendo bandeja juego en 5 ta en 4 ta tranquilo y en esas categorías encontras gente que no sabe pegar de revés es increíble. Cualquier buen jugador de tenis puedo confirmarlo

Mistaken from the blacks. When you hit a lob to the T, move in closer to the center to cover the net. You will force the opponent to hit a bajada to the sides and he would probably miss!

Use the split step when you move around the court. The padel school has some great video exercises for that.
