I just found this review, the only thing I changed was the wheels, went with i9 wheels with hydra hubs, tubeless Rekon and Forecasters, cut 3.5 pounds off the bike build.

Do the FULL MEAL DEAL! Which would include: Red Lick, Nebo, Benton bike park, Northridge Trails (Hot Sprungs) and Iron Mtn on Lake De Gray. Rinse and repeat in the opposite direction. 🙌🏻👊🏻🤘🏻

Good to see the “Drew Crew” got to take a trip together. Flagstaff is one of my favorite places in the country. That trail looks amazing but at my age, I would want to do it before the snow arrived. Hope y’all had a great time!
@richdrewtherideseries13 күн бұрын
It was a blast man! I'd certainly prefer to do it without the snow, but it was still pretty cool.

Nice vid! 2019 Museum Fire is the one that toasted the steep tech lines and the post-covid 2022 toilet-paper Pipeline Fire destroyed Hot Shots trail. Two more directional MTB trails planned for hopefully 2025, the first an adoption/reroute of Private Reserve and the other a new trail in the same zone.

For everyone else please don’t climb up Shultz trail. It’s a great descent and sucks when people are riding up it stopping you for their IMBA “right of way”. The road is right next to it and a nice gravel climb to stay out of people’s way coming down singletrack.
@joehazel229115 күн бұрын
that's silly. Schultz is an arterial trail to get further out into the trail network. It's not a DH and is popular with hikers and runners.

So much good riding weather here in Flagstaff and you hit the one time where there is snow on the ground. :) Nice video Rich. I haven't ridden Meteorite yet, but now I really want to. It looked epic.
@richdrewtherideseries15 күн бұрын
You must ride it! So well built and allows you to slowly turn up the speed each run. I’m really looking forward to getting back out there early next summer and doing some laps on it.

Great video. Question. As someone who has watched a lot of "how to jump" videos, I notice you all are not "loading the bike into the ramp" much. Am I missing something? Every how to video says you need to do that. Any help is appreciated! Thank you.

Awesome video. Which bike was best for the mileage and terrain of Staggerwing, the Nebo or Timp?
@richdrewtherideseries23 күн бұрын
Both! It’s really a toss up in my opinion. I could argue it either way: Nebo for better battery life and a solid session of Staggerwing on a bigger ride or Timp because it has some more travel and you could let er eat a bit more 🤷🏻♂️
