The B-side of The Everly Brothers first hit, "Bye Bye Love" on the Cadence label. Written by Don Everly, as was "Bye Bye Love". I remember playing the flip side and realizing we would be hearing more from them

The only other musician who has more melodic sense and musicality than Paul Simon is probably Paul McCartney but he's not as good as him with lyrics.

11-13-24: I have been a fan of Paul Simon since childhood. Grew up listening to his music regularly. Now approaching 50, i look back fondly on my fav college memory: meeting Paul Simon and Edie Brickell at the Mohonk Mt House in summer98. I was filling water glasses when Paul stopped me and asked a funny question, and i did not recognize him at the time. We chatted and joked for 10 to 15 minutes before i continued on with my duties. I do recall the joking became so wonderful, i offered to do a dance for them on their table... the reply was laughter (i will not detail our conversation, though i remember most of it :) The Captain of the dining floor asked me why i was chatting with Paul Simon for so long, and i replied "Paul Simon is here? I love him"... The Captain answered, "You were just speaking with him and his wife". On realizing what i had said to who, I was not the least embarrased by my joking. It was a great 15 minutes of conversation with one of my #1 fav vocalists and artists. Time flies

Upon leaving, Paul Simon and Edie Brickell stopped to say goodbye and thanked me for being so entertaining. Great memory

an absolute Master songwriter, he will be listened to and loved literally Forever, such rich force behind his calm. I cant put into words how he lit up my quite dreadful life when I was a young man, shit little record player in a shitter flat though it felt ok when Paul Simon was throwing beautiful imagery around the room wrapped in a perfect melody. God bless him.

Stunning. I love hearing artists sing the songs they wrote when they were young, there is a different feel like a piquancy that comes from a life full of laughter, growth and tears that adds even more depth to an already deep song ❤

I have many favorite songs, but American tune are soothing even for a Japanese person like me. I am grateful to you, thank you very much.

Why was this removed from Spotify? I might notice a song missing, but this one had me going crazy. I was driven to search it on Spotify because it wasn't showing up in my playlists. I was led here by a Google search. And I see I'm not the only one missing this song on Spotify!
