Its not A not! Baries cant hit F note! Its another world. hvor was a sandwiched throaty ingolata barker. That "A" notes are a screams, like did it bari del monaco, a sandwiched screamer

I've seen many different renditions of this piece, including that of Pavarotti and other great performers, and nobody ever came to Del Monaco's level of perfection in my view. 💯

Male opera singers only use chest voice

@@blanknoteofficial9035 Oh, sorry. I must to say this is not a good idea. Italian says, "bel canto", that means people who use all body to sing, not only chest voice. Tenors and sopranos use more head voice because they need to sing more higher notes. On the other hand, baritons, bass, mezzo-sopranos and altos use more chest voice because they need to sing more lower notes. A good singer must know all the balance of voice.

@@CPKGGG Male opera singers, especially tenors may use different placement (more forward), compared to the more dark/throaty sound of baritones, however, I assure you they all use chest register, Unless they have to use head voice ( falsetto) Incase they can't reach the high notes in the chest.

Filippo and Don Giovanni are Siepi's best two roles. His legato is absolutely perfect.

He sounds darker than Samuel Ramey did in the 1990 Met production. Really good singing from Renato however, the basso and the leporello are not at his level of singing.

Excellent compilation! He said sometimes, as a joke "I can sing as a baritone!" - he knew he could do it, sing just about anything!
