Was anybody checking the flow of air bubbles as you pumped the clutch pedal . If not how would you know you had bleed the system completely.

Hi. I have a Lancia Musa 2006 1.3 diesel automatic. Sometimes gives me an error gearbox failed for 2 sec and then disappear. This message always comes when is 2d gear. It pops up for 3-4 sec and then disappear. Car change gears normal. Only when message pops up won't go from 2nd to 3nd. Only for this 2 sec. The obd error is P1742 P1818 as well. After some days watching the problem i see that message pops up when car is in 2nd gear and wont go to 3d until message disappear. Then it works fine. Same when car is in 2nd and going to 1st. Also sometimes when i stop and car goes to 1st gear i hear some click click click like car is trying to change gear i think. If i press gas car is moving fine. Also if i move the car 1 meter clicks stops. Can you help please. Thanks in advanced.

I'd think by the time you have to replace the clutch the car is not worth anymore so most of the cars will be scrapped 😂😂

Thanks for the video, which guided me in the right direction. However, why do things the hard way. Lots of equipment and complicated procedure and still probably will not work (at least for me, it didn't). Bleeding this one turned out to be super easy, by just using some common sense. 1) Bleed normally with the pedal until the line is free of air. 2) Remove the cylinder from the transmission, but leave the line connected, then orient it VERTICALLY. 3) Pull out the piston/spring and fill the cylinder from top completely full. 4) Crack open the bleed plug and gently push the piston in until air-free fluid comes from the bleeder. 5) Reinstall the cylinder and do a couple of more pedal bleeds the normal way. Done in 15 min. Hope this can help others ending up here.

Reet useful. I've just m57 swapped my 940 and the clutch slipped almost immediately after a break in once I got the car boosting. I wound up having to fit another clutch kit to be sure and yeah that's 100% what my issues rooted from. Not fun as its a engine out job to do but you live and learn!

I’ve found burnishing the clutch fork with tungsten disulfide WS2 dry lube before grease makes the clutch operate extremely smooth and reduces wear.

As for the seating position, there is a handle on the left hand side of the driver seat that lowers it. I love the VR6 and I hope to send mine to HPA some days as well. Mine is pretty much the same model with 67k and in brilliant black 😉

I have been experiencing a problem with the DQ250 gearbox for the last 10,000 km and it sounds like this: When the clutch engages there is a clunk, the gear shifts are very linear and nothing is felt, except a clunk and a little jerk. I have noticed this phenomenon also when I go, in any gear, take my foot off the accelerator and put it back on, a clank is heard. I'll leave some videos below with what I'm trying to explain. I'm guessing it would be the dual mass flywheel, the car having 210k km. The dog bone and mounts are ok. Replaced the CV Joints but nothing changed. The sounds appears when you try to reproduce the noise which gets louder and louder the more you try to reproduce it Also when i'm in idle i feel sometimes some vibratians and when i put it in D, the vibration dissaperes. On VCDS there's no errors from mechatronic unit. What do you guys think? Video on my profile.

Will an inproperly adjusted master cylinder linkage cause the pedal to get stiffer and stiffer until it freezes up at the top position? When I try to bleed it, it gets stiffer and stiffer, looses range of movement in the clutch pedal until it freezes. I appreciate any insite!

I’m late to the video, but I’m curious about off road low end torque. I’m haven’t increased power, but I use this SUV rarely around town. It’s primarily used off road and occasionally for towing. 1. Would a SMF be more suitable for me? 2. Why specifically would the SMF (or DMF) be more suitable off road?

Bull shite. The dmf is about making money and nothing to do with vibration bs. That has everything to do with poor design balancing/ firing order etc. They make the dual mass flywheels to fail.
