I still don't understand who built this green temple while i reread homestuck my third time xD . Did it just grow out of nowhere when life on earth was still in its infancy?

Yeah, I'm re-reading it now for the Andrew Hussie commentary and he doesn't explain it there, either. I think I heard somewhere that the temple has a "seed" inside the meteor, which might explain why there's so much vegetation surrounding it as it grows... but it's clearly made of rock, and grew despite being buried in lava. Come to think, the other structures like the bottle cap and apple stations that the Exiles find themselves in also grow spontaneously out of the crater of a meteor. I guess there's a bunch of seeds of weird structures among the meteors. Edit: Yep, searched the comic for the word "seed." Karkat mentions many meteors are "like seeds." Kanaya's home was grown from a "seed" on the volcanic rock nearby. Confirming -- meteors make these structures grow spontaneously after years in the future, but [strikethrough]not many[/strikethrough]

I've never gotten far past this in Homestuck (and tbh I didn't understand a lot of what led up to it, since I was being forced to read it by a friend even though I was falling asleep), but it doesn't surprise me that even people who've read the whole thing still consider this one of their favourite songs from it. It's so good.

2:34 - 3:01 is my all-time favorite part of the entire homestuck soundtrack. It begins with a simple but effective riff, starting off strong with a nice melody. But with every measure up until 2:47, a new instrument or louder bass is added, building the intensity of the scene. After 2:47, the building of the intensity stops, but the song keeps going. So you just get to reel in the awe of how loud and insane the song has gotten. Until at 2:58, everything culminates in this massive burst of every instrument playing the same chord at once. I fucking love this song in case you haven’t noticed lol

I don't like fighting games but I enjoyed this one, because it was simple but mostly because I absolutely loved the storyline set up. If more games had similar formats I'd be throwing my wallet at them.

Just watched this for the first time in over five years and it still feels just as compelling, as dramatic, as tense, as incredibly impactful as it did when I first read the comic. That transition to John for the last refrain always made me pump my fist and cheer. Now, the better half of a decade later - it's no different.
