Getting flashbacks to when I first moved out lmao. Got kicked out at 16 but before that my parents were never around so I never learned basic cooking stuff. When I moved out I burned almost everything and made the nastiest mixes😂

Hey! A great base for any smoothie is FROZEN berries (your choice) and then use a banana for sweetness! You can find pre frozen berries at grocery stores <3

That looked like great smoothie, a couple tips for next time; you can use yogurt or your favorite juice or coconut water for a better textured smoothie, also try adding mint next time 🤍🤍

Turmeric is a root with a similar taste profile as ginger, which means it’s mostly an earthy sort of taste (plus powdered turmeric is more mellow). Earthy doesn’t mean bad tasting. In India for example turmeric can be mixed into warm milk to make “golden milk”, a drink that became more popular on social media during the pandemic. So you made a sweeter version of that with the added fruits. And cilantro is an herb, and herbs are generally used to make dishes taste “lighter” and fresher. So blending in the cilantro would change the taste but not necessarily in a bad way either. You made an interesting, savory smoothie. Nicely done.

@@howlingwolf317 correct, apologies. i shouldn’t have used that terminology. it’s just my personal preference to have things taste a little more sweet than earthy. also, very interesting. i never learned about golden milk. maybe i’ll make it one of these days!!

i personally am not scared of thunder or lightning. i enjoy it 🤷‍♀️ but i do know people who are. i don’t really understand it but oh well
